I dont usually write reviews. I wrote one for TF2 for a steam achievement, back when i cared about the steam summer sale more than now, and havent bothered since. The reason im writing one for db at the moment is because i care about the game. Ill try to keep this short. The game is very fast paced, skillful, colourful both in maps and characters without being cartoonishly over the top. The voice work is solid, the maps are well designed with a special focus on secondary objectives that make camping the main objective a more than suboptimal strategy. Its decently well designed for a beta, and they have a new anti cheat system out now, that has reduced the issue of hackers enough that i, personally, have only encountered 2 blatant hackers in the last couple of weeks.
What the game needs to suceed from here on out would be more maps, continuously improving anti cheat, as well as more attention from the developer both in terms of balance, as well as PR work. Minor quibbles i have besides that include: Somewhat overpriced real life amounts, whereas the in game credit amounts are fine. This isnt an issue for me, personally, since i play the game enough to have most of the mercs i care about already, but i think it would do the game better if the 50k credit mercs were 5-7 bucks and the 30k credit mercs 3-5 bucks, along with loadout cards being 1 dollar or so.

I want this game to do well, and you really cant go wrong with playing it, so i strongly advise you to give it a try. Free hint: dont buy vasilli as your first merc. Get sawbonez, proxy arty and actually learn to play the game/contribute. Have fun
