I got this on sale, and I think the sale price is absolutely worth it. Full price, maybe not so much, ONLY for the ending of the game (and some of the "mini-game" mechanics being wonky on a controller).

The game had so much character and so much to explore and find. Slightly disappointed in some of the world being unused... (What was up with the weird cult people in the tunnel? Why introduce the mopey fox kid and then suddenly have someone just mention that he moved away?) and the whole third act felt SO rushed. It felt entirely unfinished! One of the characters (your boss) at the ends even says "Hey, come here, I need your help with something quickly!" and you run outside to help her and it's just over, credits roll???

I ADORED this game and played it pretty much non stop of two days haha. But the end felt unsatisfying and really, really disappointing...

But, if it's on sale, I think it's worth it for the story alone, and getting to know all the cute characters. Talk to EVERYONE. Explore. Explore the playground, the shopping area, the town square, the river--everything you can before you go to the hospital everyday. There are so many stories to explore.
