And as bigger their love grows, as more starts Amalthea losing her memory. Lir tries to win her with heroic deeds and fights victoriously against dragons, ogres, black knights and any other monster he can find. But the Lady Amalthea cannot be impressed by heroism. Only Lir's true love and his childlike poetry opens her heart. But as longer she stays in a human body as more she loses her memory and begins to forget, why she came here.
After more magical encounters (including a talking cat and a drunk skull) they ultimately discover the secret of the unicorns. They are trapped in the sea where Haggard watches them during the tide for his senile delight.
They escape through the clock into a dimension beyond time – and find Prince Lir there who just followed his heart and is determined to help Amalthea to complete her mission - but to free the unicorns she must turn back into a unicorn again and pass the lair of the Red Bull who is already waiting for them...
