I have supported this game for years. A 5x price increase is insane.

I have used this program to edit a variety of different things, ranging from podcasts to internet ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. However, when I originally bought this program, I had the intention of using it to help record music - ironically recording music is by far the weakest part of this program. As a music program that is marketed as a complete package, it is repulsive to have it NOT have input monitoring.

The loops aren't bad (once you go through the heckhole of finding them), and since it was advertised towards remixing, I guess it's on me to have seen this one coming.

( TLDR , THIS IS FOR REMIXING MUSIC ^ )

With the negatives out of the way,
The program features quite a lot of effects and control over mixing audio, and the ease of use is something I genuinely enjoy. Overall, I think it's worth it since I bought it off of a good bundle sale alongside vegas, soundforge (which has input monitoring) and this.

Don't buy it full price, but if it's on sale, I'd recommend you try it out

💵Bought on sale💵

⛵Blackwake: 7/10⛵

This game will be reviewed based upon the enjoyability of playing within a multiplayer group

Graphics ✔️ ☐ ☐ ☐ ☐
Average graphics with it’s unique style and taste leaning towards realism. The game is alright in this department with nothing too spectacular nor bad.

Optimization ✔️ ✔️ ✔️ ☐ ☐
Harder but still possible to run on lower end setups with frame spikes during naval encounters happening quite often. Absolutely no issues on a medium setup- It also supports Macs so get all your apple mates and go sailing!

OST ✔️ ✔️ ✔️ ✔️ ☐
Super fun, action packed and adventurous orchestral possibly inspired by Hanz Zimmer’s Pirates of The Carribean soundtrack that lends itself to the pirate stereotype. It instills a sense of swashbuckling fun like no other when you charge down the enemy boat during a grapple with your cutlass. The soundtracks themselves are actually quite vibey standalone, give it a listen.

Longevity ✔️ ✔️ ✔️ ☐ ☐
Good money for good time, the game can be fun for gaming sessions with friends that go on for hours and hours, it’s still a go-to game for me and my piratey mates.
Solo ✔️ ✔️ ✔️ ☐ ☐
The game is designed in a way that it is almost impossible to man a boat and be successful as a solo player. The game is made for teamwork to be imperative, solo queuing on the other hand can sometimes be boring or it can be a blast, it heavily depends on the team you’re paired with. The community as of now is very enthusiastic in the pirate fun, so come and enjoy while the pirate seas are still fresh and wholesome.

Multiplayer Content ✔️ ✔️ ✔️ ✔️ ☐
Many boats, many strategies, many different ways that you can win- the multiplayer content is extremely fulfilling.

Worth? ✔️
11.99 may be a steep price tag, but I would buy it if the game were to grow in popularity more- however, if it ever goes on sale (FOR A DOLLAR!), this buy is an absolute no-brainer. Highly recommend you try it out.

⚫Black Desert Online: 6.5/10⚫

This game will be reviewed based upon the enjoyability of playing within a multiplayer group

Graphics ✔️ ✔️ ✔️ ✔️ ✔️
An amazing beautiful game with wondrous environments and art. The game features top of the line character customization, shading and world detail. There is currently no game out there that is comparable to the scope of the world in Black Desert Online as an Open World MMORPG. (~May 2020) Even on lower end graphics the game shines through visually to show a great and gorgeous product.

Optimization ✔️ ✔️ ☐ ☐ ☐
Fairly unoptimized until the past year and a half, it is still a game completely unable to be played on a lower-end pc. With a mid-tier pc I am able to run the game at a consistent 45+ fps in large populated fighting areas (siege/bosses) and 60fps at normal times on high graphics. It is a lot more optimized towards Nvidia graphics cards so having a mid-tier AMD is definitely going to be a drawback.

OST ✔️ ✔️ ☐ ☐ ☐
Repetitive but contributes to the mood and immersion of the environments, it’s no a wonderful soundtrack but it is a clean addition that enhances the experience.

Longevity ✔️ ✔️ ✔️ ✔️ ✔️
A huge time sink of a game, there is a gigantic plethora of content in the game that is fairly easy to get into but has a higher skill/time ceiling. Most veteran players of the game have been playing daily for years and years ever since release with new content and events always on the horizon- or just doing the daily grind.

Solo ✔️ ✔️ ✔️ ✔️ ❌
Most players of Black Desert tell you “It’s a marathon not a sprint”, it is a game that is going to last a long long time if you play it to the “end”. The game feels incredibly rewarding when you succeed but if you fail you could lose hours and hours of progress when you upgrade equipment. (Yes… like gambling). However that aspect can be circumvented by buying equipment straight from the market, encouraging different play styles such as buying equipment or upgrading. The solo grind can be done through many different ways, fighting mobs, lifeskilling, trading or even whipping out the good old credit card and buying real life cash items to sell back on the marketplace! The grinding itself is not that bad, the combat is extremely fun in PVP, in pve the art is so visually catching that it can keep you captivated for hours- but… you definitely are going to be grinding for hours that’s for sure.

Multiplayer Content ✔️ ✔️ ❌ ❌ ❌
Most multiplayer content is “Endgame” where a lot of the higher end grinding spots that require multiple people are locked beyond a giant timesink gap. The PVP in the game is extremely fun and challenging, but it is difficult to get to the point where you are viable to be in PVP because of the time it takes to reach the endgame. Thus “It’s a marathon, not a sprint.”. However, that is to say being in a thriving beginner’s guild can be fun too

Worth? ✔️
10 bucks for a bunch of wallpaper fuel and a fun first impression? Why not?

💥Fly Punch Boom: First Impact: 7/10💥

This game will be reviewed based upon the enjoyability of playing within a multiplayer group

Graphics ✔️ ✔️ ✔️ ✔️ ☐
Graphics that take your childhood nostalgic flash game and take it to the next level. Astounding environmental and action art that isn’t breathtaking, rather it is what can only be described as “EPIC” and jaw dropping wonder as you recreate stick fight animations from the 2011s but as a video game as a jacked gorilla who looks like he was Broly from Dragon Ball's original primate ancestor.

Optimization ✔️ ✔️ ✔️ ✔️ ☐
Very easy to run on anything, no Mac support but can even be on Remote Play Together with adequate 6+mbs connection.

OST ✔️ ✔️ ✔️ ✔️ ☐
The two tracks shown in the demo are amazing and incredibly immersive, it is what drew me to the game in the trailer. It is similar to that of old power ranger theme songs with the awesomeness bringing back a blast from the past mixed with modern tech to create an amazing circus of fighting game art.

Longevity ✔️ ☐ ☐ ☐ ☐
To be fair, the game itself is still a demo there is not much content other than running around fighting in the air. There are a grand total of 3 demo characters to try three with one unique skill and one unique ultimate each with everything else being the same

Solo ✔️ ❌ ❌ ❌ ❌
Playing with CPU is rather unenjoyable as it is either too difficult for the average player or it is literally a computer and you win. The spectacle only lasts so long until another human is there to enjoy it with you.

Multiplayer Content ✔️ ✔️ ✔️ ✔️ ☐

Worth? ✔️
It’s free! Grab a friend, try it out!

I will definitely be keeping an eye on the full release!

🌟Based on a multiplayer experience

🌲Terraria: 8.5/10🌲

Graphics ✔️ ✔️ ✔️ ☐ ☐
Featuring a pixelated artstyle Terraria is completely unique in its graphical design and spritestyling. The art is very detailed considering it’s limited by pixel and spriting. Enjoyable and neat if pixel side scrolling art is your cup of tea.

Optimization ✔️ ✔️ ✔️ ☐ ☐
Played on both a mid-end gaming pc and a low-potato laptop. The vanilla multiplayer experience should have no issues in terms of frame rate as the game itself is not frame reliant for enjoyability. Even from a low-end potato of a laptop running outdated and practically ancient hardware it is able to hit a consistent 25 FPS (even if it doesn’t sound like much it is very impressive). The game is able to be played on both PC and Mac making the entry for playing the game at an enjoyable pace with potato pc friends actually enjoyable.

OST ✔️ ✔️ ✔️ ✔️ ☐
From a musical standpoint the game has a large variety of bgm for different biomes. The bgm creates a sense of immersion that thoroughly fits together with the art and playstyle of the game to give feelings of adventure, fear, mystery and exploration. Some tracks are very vibey.

Longevity ✔️ ✔️ ✔️ ✔️ ✔️
The vanilla game itself already has over 70+ hours of content for solo play, with more players the game’s longevity spikes up as the replay value for the game is quite high. You can replay as multiple different classes or gear loadouts with a fresh new take on the game each new start.
Additionally the game has an extremely expansive modding scene that fuels the game’s longevity. With the new update incoming (1.4) that officially supports modding the game is on a track for seemingly endless amounts of content. The modding scene creates content that is comparable to entire expansions for other games and there is a very large variety of these mods out there to try. Mod expansions mostly focus on the “class” gameplay of the game, further supporting and aiding in the multiplayer aspect of the game.

Solo ✔️ ✔️ ✔️ ❌ ☐
The solo gameplay of the game can prove rather tedious after the first few runs. The game itself is designed in a manner that highly supports multiplayer content with the class system. It is completely viable to play the game alone however it is a lot more enjoyable to get through some parts of the beginner slow grind you may face when you are learning the game.

Multiplayer Content ✔️ ✔️ ✔️ ✔️ ☐
Terraria is an extremely fun game when played with friends, the game and other mod expansions both support a class system that encourages multiplayer gameplay. The game has grinding portions that can be filled and made a lot more enjoyable with the company of others.

Worth? ✔️ ✔️ ✔️ ✔️ ✔️
The price of a steak for the Terraria 4 Pack? Or a big mac for 1 copy of the game? Sign me up, if I could experience Terraria all over again I would do it in a heartbeat.

The moderators are corrupted and have no chill, the constant bans and censors with no regards to the terms that they presented make them so.

I haven't even played through half of the game yet, I'm on 13 hours of gameplay so far yet I've already fallen in love with this game.
As an avid tales fan, I expected this to be like any other tales game. It wasn't.
The combat in this game is something I disliked at first, but found myself slowly enjoying it. Unlike Zestiria it's combat system is based on combinations of different buttons pressed instead of using the joystick+ square button.
There is a very large variety of artes (skills) that can be chosen from, and the great thing about them is... none of them go obsolete. You can stick with the moveset you have at the start of the game and it would still be able to carry you through, though you'd want different moves with different elements to target enemy weakness'. Combat is not a focal point of this game though- which brings me to my next point, something I felt could've been done better.
The game's soundtrack is lackluster. Though individually the ost is still an amazing piece of work, but it was one-upped by Zestiria which came before it. The soundtrack didn't have any epics that would make you feel extremely compelled to by the soundtrack, it more serves are background ambience during fights to not bore you. It's there, it serves it's purpose but it's just not THAT good where it deserves Zestiria praise.
Last and certainly the most prominent, the story.
(due to spoilers I'll try to keep this as vague but most informative as possible)
The story in this game is amazing. It made me feel heart-aches during the tutorial with it's quick twists, honestly from other tales games you would expect there to be a buildup from before everything went to hell- not in this one. The character's are all very well fleshed out, they have goals and motivations (all lovely people) with some cheesy dialogue to chuck in every now and then (but it's not too cheesy where it's unnatural) The story is blatantly darker than a majority of other tales games, but it's still able to keep a good sense of humor every now and then to lighten the mood.
