This is my favorite bad game. My biggest guilty pleasure. Everything from the writing to its' battle system is such a beautiful disaster from start to finish, all tied together with with a neat little artstyle and an actually pretty good soundtrack. YIIK is a case study of what happens when you have a ton of neat ideas, yet all try to cram them in one game and expand upon none of them. The fact that this game's creator responded extremely negatively to criticism certainly didn't help either. All in all, YIIK is a huge waste of potential (though I'm interested to see if I'll stand corrected upon the I.V update which is not out yet at the time of me writing this) and is a huge mess. That being said, I think everyone should experience YIIK in some way. Play the game yourself, watch a let's play, or hell, even just a story summary. It's just such this neat little oddity of a dumpster fire, and I love it for that.
