Epic Online Services is required to be installed and running in order to play EDF 6 to open the game at all. An Epic account is required to play online unlike EDF 4.1 and 5 which used Steam's multiplayer functionality. This feels like a complete downgrade.

Also, where are Fubuki, Mio, and Ayame. Why are they not available to western players? SteamDB shows those three DLC are present.

I cannot in good faith recommend this version of EDF.

Great story, good mechanics, and a healthy dose of frustration trying to figure out how to solve these test chambers.

This game involves lots of plot twists, friends turning on each other, and eventually a different ending that you might expect. I highly recommend this game. Be warned, this game involves a lot of problem solving and you may get stuck, but nothing in this game is unsolvable. I can testify to that.
