Nostalgic experience, if you've played previous bloons games you should definitely give this a try, there are microtransactions but they're not p2w level and completely optional imo. I would recommend getting it on sale unless you're really into tower defense type of games.

Great game with awesome developers, doesn't have minecraft's level of immersive building but combat and a touch of exploration is where this game truly shines. Definitely get it on sale but it's still worth it either way.

Even with the current state of the game, it's really hard not to recommend it. It's still technically free so try it out! It's still a really fun game with a nice community (compared to MOBAs, let's be real) but don't expect an actual competitive scene if that's important to you.

2024:
The game is now perfectly playable, definitely play it.
