Great game, just don't uninstall it or else all your progress gets wiped. Turns out your data is as fragile as the bloons you're mercilessly slaughtering.

This is one of the most real reviews you'll see on Atlas, since my opinions are relatively mixed!

CONS:
Overall, I think it's a great game, but like many great games that are free it's suffering from a dwindeling playerbase and so queue times for certain modes during certain times of the day can be frustratingly long and tedious.
I think the main reason that the playerbase is dwindeling like it is, is because of lack of creativity on the developers side. This game is set up to fail, since the regular/classic gamemode that is Atlas Reactor is not bad, but repetetive, they didn't do a good job making each match feel unique, hence it's something that a lot of people get tiered of after a few hours, hence the playerbase shrinking.
I also think something that would be more healthy for the game in a more strategically diverse viewpoint, is more freelancers, and existing freelancers getting tweaked so they can be placed in more specific categories than just "Firepower", "Tanks" and "Supports".

PROS:
Pretty much everything else. They did a great job on the visuals/graphics and overall aesthetics of the game, sound design is great and the animations are good with very few exceptions.
And despite the classic gamemode being repetetive after a while, the concept is amazing! If you like strategy games, RTS or regular strategy, you'll love this. It feels amazing, and really rewarding, when you manage to predict what the opponent is about to do. It's rewarding to the point where ONE good read can turn the tides of battle and ONE good player can carry a team of 3 others!

In conclusion.
I strongly encourage anyone who downloads this free game to play more than one game. Atlas Reactor rewards players who put in the time to learn the game, and I know from experience that the first couple of games of Atlas Reactor can be pretty challanging to the point of the game feeling scary and/or discouraging.

6/10
I still strongly recommend this game despite the rating of 6!

Get in there and put in the work, freelancers!

It's extremely good! And the quality is stunning! Even if the game is 6-7 years old you can't stop playing it!
The combat system might not be flawless and there are buggs that happens, but compared to other games that old it's still on the top list of yesturday and today! You really feel like a part of the game and it's characters. And the game can be run on almost any computer since the computer i have right now is crap but even with fraps it runns in amazing 40 FPS!
This game is worth every single cent if not more then it's labeled, buy it and you will have a blast with a die-hard community that never dies over 7 years ;)
