It's that good old school Imsim, and it's worth the price.

Pro;s
-Good Combat
-Lots of exploration rewards
-Lots of different ways to achieve both main and side objects
-Crawling in vents and stacking boxes is back!
-Good music and suitable graphics

Cons
-It's not as free and open as many imsims are. This is more Deus Ex 1 (you go to an area, do your objective there then go somewhere else mostly) than Prey or System Shock
-Pretty much linear
-Exploration rewards are just missing from 1 or 2 areas - A recent update seems to have acknowedged and corrected this somewhat,
-Buggy

I liked it a lot, playtime is more like 7 hours as I left it running while I went away from my desk for a while.

Weird English nonsense, but for once it's not weird southern English nonsense. Funny, silly, a bit short but gave me some proper belly laughs.

The best PS2 game I've ever played. Looks like it'll be janky garbage but it's only very slightly janky, extremely well made.

Definitely the best free to play MMO, though it's not unreasonable to wait for a platinum discount and spend a little bit to increase enjoyment.

Bought this because a few people described it as "STALKER with robots"...gotta say I didn't really feel it

It's a competent shooter with a lack of weapon variety and enemy variety. Your mileage may vary but I was pretty let down by it and it felt very repeative very quickly.

Story seems interesting but it comes in drips and drabs and thn ends extremely abruptly.

I can't personally recommend it, but if you like the aesthetic and want an open world game that doesn't take 50+ hours to complete, it might work for you!

Not content with with releasing two average games of one genre, Deep Silver continues trying to make a franchise (whose crowning achivement was a cinematic trailer) relevant and popular with an addition to the most overcrowded genre since Second World War shooters.

Only this one is free to play (like all of them are) and you can pay real money to unlock ingame power upgrades (like only the bad ones)

Despite launching exclusively through steam they still want me to sign up for some ♥♥♥♥♥.

I guess itd be less upsetting that this game is boring and mindless if they hadn't made such an intewnsely brilliant trailer for it.

Grpahically awful, with some of the worst writing and voice I've ever seen in a video game (It's a contender for Resident Evil's voice acting crown).

Nice gimmick with fiddly controls that will see you dying over and over trying to perform simple tasks.

Could've been something very special given the interesting gimmick, instead it's just balls.

A lot of reviewers called this a hopped up expansion pack, and while it's true the main settings (and much of the map geometry in that setting) is largely the same, it's pretty much better in every way than the previous game. It feels nicer to play, the comedy hits the mark far more frequently and the super powers make the combat considerably more interesting.

The only real problem is that the customisation of cars is largely pointless as your super powers will get you from A to B 3 times as fast

So far it seems very much like towns (though I believe it came first) with all the same issues: fiddly controls, lack of tutorial beyond reading blocks of text in the help menu, confusing (mis)use of perspective meaning you'll inevitable balls it up and cut a layer off a mountain while two of your gnomes are on top of it, leaving them stranded, in there there's some deep management and fun, but it's stupidly unfriendly to get into.
