Ok they have at least one "their prayers give you strength" moment I forgive the server ♥♥♥♥ from earlier, incredible Final Fantasy game.

I got the board game a couple of years ago as a Christmas present, and it has quickly become my favorite board game. Maybe it's because I'm terrible when it comes to competitions, but I can entirely get behind a fully cooperative tabletop game, and the variety of heroes, villains, and locales keeps things fresh. The video game version is entirely faithful to the tabletop version, and while it doesn't have all the expansions yet, it continues to be fresh for me as a solitare or multiplayer game.

If I had any complaints about the game, it's that the chat function in multiplayer could be a bit better positioned so it doesn't bog down gameplay as much. It's better off with just using Steam's voice chat, though that's only viable with friends. Also, maybe adding in some more shortcut options for certain cards like Visionary's "Twist the Ether" card to streamline gameplay would be nice. It's a necessary evil of the interface, I assume, but it does get annoying having to click or press the same button over and over when it interacts with multi-target abilities; just having an option to apply the same effects to every target would be nice. (Though since I also own this on my iPad, I should say that the keyboard shortcuts are very welcome.)
