Fun game for a great price

Interesting game, it's an arcade style hockey game, with rogue-like elements. Can't say I've played anything quite like it.

The gameplay itself is pretty fun, and the fact that the runs can differ between playthroughs means that this has the potential to be endlessly replayable.

For now however, the game is going though some growing pains with rogue-like elements being a point of frustration (You often get limited on how often you can select your unlockables for example, so buying new ones just adds to the pool and means you're less likely to get the item to begin with), but the developers seem to be actively monitoring and trying to come up with a solution to this issue.

For a game in Early Access, it's exactly in the state I'd expect it to be from a small team, and I'll be following the development of the game closely going forward, and am excited to see where it goes.

I tried to like this game and give it a chance, but the performance issues and crashing made it an unappealing experience, on top of the mediocre gameplay.

2021 Update:

I ended up rebuying the game and giving it some more time with the updates. The game's performance has drastically increased, to the point where it isn't a dealbreaking issue. The game now has enough meat to keep someone familiar with fallout busy for at least a couple hours to see if they like it.

It's a good stealth game, if you like the first one you will enjoy this one.

Great game, this is the best game in the AC franchise since ACII. They improved on the naval combat and added new ways of combat such as dual wielding swords and pistol combat. The free-aim system feels clean as well, not as if it was gimmick. The story of the pirate Edward Kenway is much more relatable than his grandson Connor, and continues to show the eternal struggle of the battle between the Templars and Assassins. What is also great is that the DLC (so far) are simply shortcuts or cosmetic items that do not significantly impact the game and the story. 10/10, would play again!

Definetely in my top 5 games, it has a great plot with a good twist and the fact that there are lots of different ways to accomplish your goals makes this game have very good replay value.

Really good game, worth the money especially if it's on sale. I'd give it a 9.5/10.
