highly addictive and fun, some of the decks you can get going are nutty

there's a solid core, graphically it looks dated but the customisation of the weapon and actually firing it is very well done. I like the system of arm strength and that you have to be precise and methodical. Definitely a game to pick up and play with friends, solo is ok against the AI but would be much better as a team. That being said there is a wealth of options for solo play, maps etc so really good value

it's a phenomenal game that everyone should experience at least once. It still holds up graphically against most modern titles and is very well optimised. Online is good fun but I would recommend looking into solo lobbies for IMO the best experience ;)

solid game improved massively on the first. Campaign is ok, PVP can be fun but ops is where the replayability is at. Roadmap looks promising, season pass isn't worth the investment IMO as you still need to unlock the items in game with the currency which feels counter-intuitive but overall the game is solid and the most recent patch vastly improved the balance of the game

Well they did it. The 60 days came and went and the game is so much better than ever. Everything positive I had to say about the game has been improved upon aside from some minor gripes but they don't impact the moment to moment fun of the game, this is mainly around resource caps and sample acquisition.

All guns have use cases now and will serve a plethora of purposes, enemies are more balanced but can still overwhelm you. The new patrol changes mean you do get moments to breathe between fights and the changes to armour have opened up so many loadout possibilities.

I'm excited to see where we go now the core of the game is rock solid, endless horde mode when AH Studios?

Good mindless fun, tons of zombies to kill. One of the best zombie games out there, I enjoy booting it up just to cut through 1000s (literally) of zombies

Despite my not recommended I have enjoyed my time with MW2, the gunplay and animations are brilliant and I wish the developers would lean into the more realism side of things and give us specific gametypes for realism modes even just simple things like losing ammo in a mag and breach type modes against NPCs.

Now for why I don't recommend it

The campaign was nothing special though, not as grounded as MW2019 (excluding the missions towards the end) which is still my favourite campaign. Too many over the top action set pieces, felt like playing a movie at times. Some annoying bugs like being black screened on death and having to reboot the game. Small indie studio. Armoured enemies are also not fun on the harder difficulties. Their armour is tough, yours is like paper even with plates

The multiplayer is the usual though I have everything muted voice chat wise as it's still a touch toxic. I enjoy levelling and customising the guns. You can tell this was made and then support put to the bare minimum to focus on MW3

Haven't really played warzone, don't intend to either.

Still some glaring bugs though, like towards the end of the campaign you get a lens flare that covers most of your screen and makes it hella awkward to play. Fuzzy textures too even with tweaks I've made to the settings. Small indie studio though.

Usual monetisation, you can avoid it quite easily though.

UI does feel like you are browsing netflix, wish they'd put some more thought into this, again small indie studio.

All in all, I personally found it a solid way to kill some time and just play a mindless shooter. I would never pay full price for it. Get it on sale if you absolutely must

it's what'd you expect from a Bethesda game, nothing special.

The game engine is now frail and decrepit by modern standards and be prepared to mod your game to make it bearable to run as with all bethesda games.

Disappointed with the purchase overall, glad I didn't pay full price for it and does not give me high hopes for ES6

I'm hooked and see myself playing this many times. My first BG game but not Larian game though it took me longer to get into DOS2 than it has with BG3. I'm now eyeing up the older games to play once I finish this.

Update 1 year later: Game is even better! Lots of new endings and dialogues, you could play the game multiple times and have a different experience. Patch 7 coming soon which is going to be a big one, can't wait for custom honour mode and to finally have a crack at it before starting the legit honour mode run.

Such good value for money even at full price. A fantastic game and I can't wait for Larian's future projects!
