Fun. This is exactly what this game is & why I play it.
Its an FPS, but it has its own character and its certainly a gem hidden in the rough. In a world of shooters such as Call of Duty, Battlefield, Halo and an endless array of Battle Royales - this is truly refreshing. From its unique and interesting story to its ace gunplay and mechanics this is a real joy to play.
Its set in the Wild West like two of its previous entries and the story can change as you go, but is quickly changed by the narrator with some interesting design choices and comedy. It's definitely in the arcade shooter category, but don't let that fool you.
It has a progression system in place so there's always some new skills to acquire, good story mode that doesn't drag on longer than it should and is by far the best Call of Juarez game.

I find the games as enjoyable as I did when they were the newest thing in town especially the Streets of Rage trilogy and the Sonic games - maybe not Sonic 3D though XD. The other games I've tried like Ecco 2 (my gosh, that is still rock hard!!), Phantasy Star 2, 3 & 4 are still good enough now to hold your attention if you like those kind of games.

If you fancy a blast from the past, grab this collection and enjoy. You can also visit the Workshop and add other Rom's if there's something else you want to play.

As someone new to this series, I have to say that so far its been pretty darn good. I'm no where near completing the title yet, but I feel encouraged to do so as the story and characters are very engaging. I did buy this years ago, but only just starting it since I'm focusing on my back log (a Steam trait). The only down side is that the title doesn't seem to support cloud saves so I did lose 11 hours when I formatted my disk. Normally I'd have sacked a game off for that, but I didn't mind going back through as I knew what to expect and did it in half the time. I'm definitely going to see this through to the end of the trilogy as I want to see how my story plays out.

Aliens, guns and death galore! What's not to like here? It's actually not as bad as the reviews make out since the patches...

In fairness, the standard version isn't great. Do yourself a favour and download the TemplarGFX Overhaul mod and that fixes soooooo many issues with the game. The difference is night and day - it actually makes it really enjoyable. I'm nearly finished with the campaign before I dive in with the DLC mission and I'm quite looking forward to it.

What got fixed - Lighting, Alien animation, textures, weapon balances, the pulse rifle actually holds more ammo now (standard version held 60 rounds??) and various other gameplay elements.

This is an epic racing game! A must have for all car fans plus awesome graphics and sound!

Forget Call of Duty and all that, this is one to get! I cannot rate this highly enough. It is one of my favourite games. Even still in 2019 this game still holds up well (to me) and you can see how much effort Rebellion put in to this. The Aliens look amazing and their behaviour is spot on and they actively avoid any light source. I still play this to this day as I still need to beat the Marine campaign on the hardest difficulty.

New players don't need to worry - the game gives you an easy start by giving each a quick tutorial and the multiplayer is still active! Just DO NOT look under "Ranked Match" as that has been empty for years - you want the dedicated server section ;)
