Fun cute little game. Playing this made my wife real annoyed and stressful watching all the dirt filling the house.

Amazing game for a free to play game.
Movement mechanics are crisp, slide, slide jump, wallrun.
Combat is also fun. If we can have coops, this would be a perfect fps games to play on the weekends.

If you want some simple hidden object games, try the one by Travellin Cats. Much better.
For this one, the controls kinda awkward, and the objects are not in similar shapes.
Some are the typical saucer shape, some are just circles, and there's one that doesn't even looks like an UFO.
So I can't really recommend this game. Play if you got nothing else to play. At least it's free.

The game's standout feature is its unique ability to transform into a bird, allowing you to freely soar through the skies and explore the beautifully crafted islands that make up the game's world. The sensation of flight is exhilarating, as you effortlessly glide over lush landscapes, ancient ruins, and ethereal floating islands. The seamless transition between land and air adds a sense of freedom and exploration that is truly magical.

The visual design of "AER: Memories of Old" is a feast for the eyes. The hand-painted art style creates a vibrant and whimsical atmosphere, with each island possessing its own distinct personality and charm. From sun-drenched beaches to mysterious underground caverns, every location is visually stunning and begs to be explored. The attention to detail and artistry make the game feel like a living painting.

The game's sound design is equally exceptional. The melodic and atmospheric soundtrack perfectly complements the ethereal landscapes, enhancing the sense of immersion and discovery. The ambient sounds of the environment, from the rustling of leaves to the distant calls of wildlife, further breathe life into the world, making it feel alive and teeming with secrets to uncover.

"AER: Memories of Old" strikes a wonderful balance between exploration and puzzle-solving. As you navigate the islands, you'll encounter various puzzles and challenges that require you to use your shape-shifting abilities and keen observation to progress. The puzzles are cleverly designed, providing just the right amount of challenge without feeling overly frustrating. Each puzzle you solve brings a rewarding sense of accomplishment and pushes the narrative forward.

Speaking of the narrative, "AER: Memories of Old" weaves a touching and introspective story that unfolds gradually as you explore the world and interact with its inhabitants. The game's lore is rich and beautifully written, delving into themes of loss, identity, and the power of memories. It's a deeply emotional and thought-provoking journey that resonates long after the game is over.

Furthermore, the game's controls are intuitive and responsive, allowing for a seamless and enjoyable experience. The ability to effortlessly transform into a bird and back again feels natural, adding to the fluidity of movement and enhancing the overall gameplay experience.

In summary, "AER: Memories of Old" is an absolute gem of a game that combines breathtaking visuals, a mesmerizing soundtrack, and a compelling narrative to deliver a truly unforgettable adventure. Whether you're a fan of exploration, puzzle-solving, or simply seeking a serene and immersive experience, this game will transport you to a world of awe and leave you yearning for more. So spread your wings and embark on this unforgettable journey through the skies of wonder!

The game is based on Jules Verne's classic novel, "Around the World in Eighty Days," but it adds its own twist by allowing players to shape the story and make critical decisions that impact the outcome of their journey. You play as Phileas Fogg's loyal valet, Passepartout, and it's your responsibility to plan and manage the logistics of your trip, including choosing routes, transportation, and making crucial choices along the way.

One of the standout features of "80 Days" is its writing. The game presents a richly detailed world, filled with diverse cultures, historical events, and intriguing characters. The narrative is exceptionally well-written, with vivid descriptions that bring each location to life. Every encounter and conversation feels meaningful, and the branching paths and multiple endings ensure that each playthrough offers a unique and engaging experience.

The strategic gameplay elements in "80 Days" are incredibly satisfying. As you navigate the globe, you'll need to carefully manage your finances, resources, and time. The game offers a variety of transportation options, each with its own advantages and drawbacks, and it's up to you to choose the most efficient routes and make the most of your limited resources. The sense of agency and decision-making adds depth and strategy to the gameplay, making every choice feel impactful.

Visually, "80 Days" is a treat for the eyes. The hand-drawn art style is beautiful and evocative, capturing the spirit of the Victorian era and the exotic locales you visit. The attention to detail is impressive, with each city having its distinct look and atmosphere. The interface is intuitive and user-friendly, allowing for easy navigation and interaction with the game's various menus and maps.

The music and sound design in "80 Days" are exceptional. The soundtrack perfectly complements the game's adventurous spirit, immersing you in the atmosphere of each location. The ambient sounds and subtle effects add depth and realism to the world, making you feel like you're truly embarking on a grand expedition.

Another commendable aspect of "80 Days" is its replayability. With numerous cities to visit, multiple routes to explore, and different choices to make, each playthrough offers a fresh and exciting experience. You'll find yourself eager to uncover new paths and discover hidden gems within the game's vast world.

In conclusion, "80 Days" is a remarkable game that combines compelling storytelling, strategic decision-making, and immersive gameplay to create a truly unforgettable experience. Whether you're a fan of adventure, history, or simply enjoy a well-crafted narrative, this game is an absolute must-play. Prepare to embark on an epic journey around the world and let your imagination soar!

Early Access Review
Progressions seems like too slow to be enjoyable.
Weapon/skill with their passives combinations are not really fun to explore.
Knock back effects are pretty useless after few minutes of the round since most late enemies are immune.

Can't really recommend this game at this point.
Seems like cheap cash grab from all the survivors-like game trends, but free.
So I don't get what the devs are aiming here.

As you can see from my play hours, I am quite addicted and invested in this game. But for the life of me I cannot honestly recommend the game.

First, the premium currency. I know there are lots of people and reviews saying that you can unlock everything for free with in-game gold. And it's true, I did it. Took me about a month of playing. But that was before the massive inflation now with people nonstop farming gold in specific place. So at current price, it would probably take months for new players to unlock everything without real money. It's not helping that the game intentionally put roadblocks that you almost can't finish without buying more slots, so it feels a bit greedy. Someone at discord said that this is good for paying players since they get more gold for their dollars, but at this rate, there won't be any buyers for their dollars left in the game.

Note that I did buy packages to support the game afterwards after I unlock everything with in-game gold.

Second, the community. There are discord and in-game chat. For in-game chat, the people there are usually helpful and really seldom being jerks (I play in Rylen server). If you ask for help, there are usually lots of people offering hand. As long as you don't ask for charity that is. While for discord, I personally suggest to just skip joining, there are several of holier-than-thou kind of people that will insert them self to every conversation. Personally they're putting me off to write any suggestion or feedback. But the mods let them be toxic, so I guess they're some good paying customer probably.

Third, the game play. There are two kind of basic game play in the game, one is to gather resources that you will use to advance through the game, and the other is powering up you gears for combat. Both doesn't really incorporate the skill-based RPG aspect that the game promoted in their store page. The skill-based aspect itself is no more than simple skill checks. No % chance for you to fail or roll greater results. So that set of skills seems just shoehorned in just to gate the progression of players.

The resources that you gather supposedly have unique properties that can make everything useful regardless of how far you have progressed in the game. This is true, for about few hours of the start of the game. After that, most of the materials are pretty useless.

The combat is turn-based, pretty basic. Can't think anything unique or new compared to other turn-based combat system.

Final word, the game is good to play half-idle, like when you're watching movie or something, if you like to grind with gathering resources. The crafting system is basically spam click brute forcing every combinations until you find the best one. The combat system is turn-based. The skill-based progression system is just there to time-gate you.

Oh, the art style and the music are quite good though.

Game looks interesting, no talking means everyone is on equal ground regardless of their language and speaking level.
I only done the tutorial so far, but I gave this a thumbs up just so that people try it more and maybe there will be more players and more lobbies.
But it probably gonna die just like other werewolf kinda game, on the top of my head was Throne of Lies.

I don't know what else to say than they need to improve the game design.
Currently feels like you just spam click on the Bio-reactor while managing the other jars.
Which is not fun in the long run.
