Kingsfield with modern polish and quality of life + runescape aesthetic + bugs. It's perfect.

Incredible depth to the world and character building. The lore of everything from the various factions to literal rocks is presented in a beautiful, poetic fashion. 20 hours in and I feel like I've barely scratched the surface.

Early Access Review
It's hard but there's nothing else like it. Fun, goofy, and heart rate increasing.

I've been playing this since early access and it's an incredibly unique roguelike. It's a true sandbox and after a ton of hours in it I've only scratched the surface. Tons of builds, game modes, it is basically infinitely replayable.

Highly polished King's Field like which allows you to tailor the experience to your play style. If you're worried about the slow movement of the original King's Field games, this game allows you to increase your speed significantly (eventually playing more like a quake style game if you desire). Interconnected level design, satisfying secrets, a compelling mystery, and a ton of character options and spells.

I've only played a few runs but the amount of depth in this game is incredible. Highly recommended if you enjoy making wacky builds / tactical combat / being a wizard.

A non-linear, sandbox style amnesia. Where Frictional's past few games heavily focused on the narrative, this game is strongly mechanics driven, and incredibly fun. It is the most "alive" of the amnesia games, with an intelligent monster and a dynamic world to interact with.

Incredibly fun even after many matches with loads of emergent gameplay.

A beautiful minimalist adventure through colorful, sweeping landscapes. Beautiful soundtrack and exhilarating movement. The controls have a slight learning curve, but I was able to grasp them after a few minutes. Great if you need a pure, almost therapeutic experience.

A return to the Amnesia, the Dark Descent style of horror. You have resources and tons of interaction with the environment. The game is a slow burn early on, but once the main horror elements kick in they are relentless. A great sequel to the original game in the series.
