Plays like a soulslike D4, solid skill animations, housing system, love the town progression tied to crafting.

World looks like a painting, highly explorable like Elden Ring with a bunch of corridors that reward you for going that few extra steps round the corner.

Needs time to cook in regards to progression as the main story drops you off at this weird point where you have to explore the map yourself, do the daily/weekly missions and get much stronger to then continue on.
Could use some more missions throughout found after locating certain NPCs around the map...Maybe something like liberating a military checkpoint to then get access to a captive NPC who would provide some faction based gameplay that could influence the way we gather / craft in the world.

Some activities to make the world feel less punishing, like a special gathering event, where the materials/currency in the event could then be used to exchange for one of x buffs active at a time for 30 minutes. Something similar to Diablo pylons, but with a more passive role like 10% movespeed buff for 30 mins / 10% more focus generation for 30 minutes/ 10% increased parry window/ 10% crit chance at the end of a light attack combo, things like that which would be a temporary power boost that aren't guaranteed in your playthrough.

Overall though really solid, beautiful and well executed. Constant patches to implement features and fixes requested. Solid team 9/10

good game, braindead builds, hard builds, cosmetics, no battlepass, eventually FREE with more content than some paid doo doo out there (cough cough d4+expansion cough) 3/10 - IGN

Core game is pretty perfect and spot on, surprised this is classed as an EA, I suppose cause of only 3 maps. It just needs more to keep the variety.

1st difficulty is too hard for my monkey brain sometimes and it's got a nice unlock and progress loop already in place , which ties into item acquisition and map exploration depth where you'll revisit all the maps but also bumps the enemy difficulty so the game always feels challenging and with new things to look for.

What it needs in the coming months is a steady map release to keep the existing players hooked (I'm nowhere near unlocking the 3rd map yet) and it's got potential to be an addicting shooter for quite a while.
Played a solid 45 frames on the OLED SD with minimal tinkering too but I'm terrible.

I would love for the devs to look into possibly removing the damage falloff for long range weapons as it seems punishing for your sniper rifle to be doing 1 damage when just outside the preset range falloff. I get why it's there for medium and short range weapons but why am I punished with 1 damage from my sniper for playing it LONG range? It's not too bad but when dealing with lots of sniper enemies (7+ looking from different directions) charging in seems like the worst choice there is...(probably just need to git gud)
