A remaster collection of two of the best Super Monkey Ball games that were released the Nintendo Gamecube: Super Monkey Ball 1 & 2! Tilt the stage and roll the monkey! Really neat unlockables including cosmetic customization options and fun unlockable SEGA characters to use instead as well! This was a great multiplayer party game to play back on the Gamecube and it remains that to this day! So many fun memories with it back in early high school. The main game itself is a wonderful extreme challenge that is a massive accomplishment to overcome and will certainly test you! Completing the story mode of SMB2 is definitely up there with my greatest gaming achievements! NOTE: be sure to purchase the classic music DLC because the remixed default songs just don't compare to the amazing and catchy originals. Get rolling you monkey!

Wallpaper Engine is something I didn't know I needed until I finally tried it out. Should've been using it from the very start! It's a fun and accessible way to change up your desktop wallpaper on the fly! Tons of quality background wallpapers including ones that animate and contain music! Just search by a keyword and your sure to find something you like! New content is created all the time and is user driven.

One of the best games of all-time gets a remake/'reimagining' and it stands as one of the greatest examples if not the best example of how to recreate a classic beloved action game. They cut all the fat out of the original and made a perfectly streamlined experience that captures all the action, awe, terror and stress of the original Resident Evil 4. Some really neat and cool story changes have been made in this version that make more sense to character and story presentation overall. Like the original it's a game I will keep coming back to again and again in the future. Capcom nailed this one! Keep the Resident Evil hits coming!

I've really enjoyed playing this very unique 3D Sonic game and I wish I didn't wait so long to finally get to it. It's a Sonic parkour game essentially! I feel like it takes around 15 hours to really get all the controls and special actions down and truly feel like you are mastering it. The game doesn't do a great job at teaching you the more skilled techniques and subtle controls either. Some functions I learned by reading or watching it or just finally stumbling upon how best to use certain techniques accidentally. It's unlike any other Sonic game out there in the way it controls so of course it's going to be fairly jarring/confusing/frustrating at first.

I really got a kick out of seeing all the classic badniks return in a 3D environment! The Deadly 6 really grew on me over time when they first just kinda felt like generic cartoon baddies but all have some entertaining personalities and lines. Give this game the time it deserves to really learn how it plays, especially if you are a Sonic fan. There is a lot of fun movement and action/attack options you won't find anywhere else in the franchise.

This is a very addicting little grid-based, fantasy animal card battle game and I've gotten a lot of entertainment out of it. Love the pixel art presentation and it has great bitchip remixes of familiar Aether tunes. Only paid $5 so far for one season pass for all the hours I've put into it already. I like how you can actually collect all of the cards within the game too and it's more about leveling up the cards to strengthen them once you have them. Better than the Pokemon card game haha. Fun strategy and challenge against a well-designed AI opponent too.

Sonic 4 Episode I is a really satisfying Sonic game. I got it originally when it first came out on PS3 and I wanted to have it for Steam as well. Just got all the Chaos Emeralds on Steam now too. Any problems with it has to do with the marketing and presentation. It should have been called something other than Sonic 4 since it really doesn't line up looks and presentation wise with the original Genesis trilogy. I think just calling it something different would of saved it from so much of the unnecessary harsh criticism from many disgruntled Sonic fans. It feels much different from those Genesis games as well. The physics work differently and having a homing attack on a 2D Sonic changes the gameplay up quite a bit. So it takes a bit of time getting used to the new feel and control scheme of this particular game. It's a great platformer to play and there's some really clever level design and mechanics in here too. There's loads of fun to be had and like any Sonic loads of replayability in truly mastering each zone. So basically this game isn't worthy of being called Sonic 4 but it's a very solid 2D Sonic game for the series!

Arkham City is a perfect Batman game and the best in the Arkham series imo. It is a must play for Batman fans. Superb story full of surprises and twists and builds off of and makes use of Asylum's good, strange and odd story decisions and elements wonderfully. Perfects the free flow combat and predator gameplay first established in Arkham Asylum. The inclusion of Catwoman is fantastic and developer Rocksteady nailed how she should feel and play. Endless hours of fun, challenge and replayability with the Riddler's Revenge mode in which you can play as Batman, Catwoman, Robin and even Nightwing. One of my favorite Steam, action adventure and super hero games ever. Will be playing it for years to come. "Only you...."

Do you want to feel what it's like to be the Batman?? Then play this game! Excellent presentation and the gameplay is superb and addicting. Right out the gate Arkham Asylum nailed what a Batman game should be. "This is a game about strong clowns and clowns getting stronger."

I absolutely adore the original Sonic Adventure on Sega Dreamcast. It was my first introduction to 3D console gaming to a system I owned myself. To this day it is still one of my favorite games of all-time. This launch title completely captured my imagination back in 1999. Already being a devoted Sonic fan from my time with the Sega Genesis I was completely enthralled with the whole experience. I've lost count of how many times I've played through this game start to finish. The gameplay, story, characters, music and presentation has so much charm and fun to it. I felt the game expanded upon the Sonic universe and lore in so many interesting and right paths and directions. It took the series in a bold move for the new millennium with a new attitude and themes while incorporating familiar elements and staples of the series. The sense of speed and freedom in this game was breathtaking back in the day and there was a real sense of place with the Adventure Field exploration zones with talking with the human inhabitants adding a lot of flavor to the world.
You get 6 types of gameplay styles among the 6 main playable characters. | Sonic the Hedgehog: with the traditional reach the end of the stage now with 3D platforming at high speeds using jump, homing and spin dash attacks | Miles "Tails" Prower the fox: with the ability to fly in the air for a given duration gets a race to the end of a shorter stage against another character | Knuckles the Echidna: with the ability to glide, climb and dig has an arena treasure hunting with hot/cold radar detection gameplay mixed with exploration and combat | Amy Rose the hedgehog: equipped with a large attack and vaulting hammer races as fast as she can to make it to the end of the stage while avoiding the attacks of a fiendish and tenacious robot pursuer | Big the Cat: an arcade-style fishing gameplay experience with exploration elements | lastly E-102 Gamma: a robot with lock-on shooting and platform style gameplay racing against the clock to make it to the stage end. All of the different gameplay styles have their own merits. You will have your favorites and maybe dislike certain others. I've come to the point where I really appreciate and enjoy them all for what they have to offer. Yes, even Big the Cat's gameplay as well now.
Yeah, the dialogue and animation can be quirky and awkward at times but I feel it only added more to the charm of the whole story. (If you play it with Japanese dialogue the lip syncing is much better.) I think the English voice cast are all great though. All the voices really fit the characters well. I can quote the dialogue like it's one of my favorite movies. Yes, there is some camera and collision detection issues and you have to work with or fight against it sometimes but once you get the hang of it there not really gameplay ruining in the least. This was back in the day where Sonic Team was still taking chances and really experimenting with what a 3D Sonic game could be and maybe didn't quite know exactly what they were doing but it makes the experience all the more fun in the most creative of ways. Oh yeah, the soundtrack is outstanding. Sega's sound team does incredible work. It stands out as one of the most unique and musically varied-styled soundtracks for video games out there.
Later on I bought the original release of Sonic Adventure DX on the Nintendo Gamecube in 2003 and completed it 100% getting all the emblems and unlocking everything in the game. I had a great time with it and really enjoyed the added content like the new mission mode and unlockable Sonic Game Gear titles. While I thought the visual "upgrades" were cool at first with higher poly count models and new texture work I quickly came to the realization that I much preferred the look and feel to the Dreamcast original with its superior lighting and other visual elements holding truer to the original mood and vision of the game. I was aware that DX was ported to other modern consoles but decided they were unnecessary since there wasn't much change and with each port the game was getting additional problems. Then the community comes through. The best way to play this on Steam now is with the BetterSDX mod package which fixes visual problems and adds in extra and cut content truly making the game deserving of the title DX for director's cut! It even includes the Game Gear titles that were missing from later ports of DX! I now find this to be my ideal way to play Sonic Adventure with incredible dream modifications like being able to transform into Super Sonic once all stories have completed. Something I would've killed to have when the game originally released all those years ago! Also you can chose to give the game the Dreamcast appearance but now with widescreen and HD presentation! Love it!!
With the BetterSADX mod this becomes a must play version for Sonic fans. Anyone who's curious about 3D Sonic I highly recommend this game. To those who want a unique 3D platformer adventuring game experience with a cool interwoven story I also recommend because it is one of a kind and there still hasn't been a game quite like it. Still waiting for Sonic Adventure 3 Sega. Open up your heart it's gonna be alright.

Resident Evil 4 is without a doubt one of my favorite games of all-time and clearly in my top 10. It is the 2nd Resident Evil game I finished playing after Resident Evil 0. I purchased it when it first was released for Gamecube back in 2005 and it blew away all of my expectations which were already held very high. I bought it again for the Wii Edition with the new fun and engaging aiming controls. Now, once more for this HD Steam release. I've lost count of how many times I've played through this gem of a game. It seems there's something new to experience with each playthrough and the game can be approached in so many ways with the variety of balanced weapons. The story is crazy and memorable and will have you and your friends quoting goofy lines from Leon and company for years to come. It is a game that has stood the test of time and is a must play for anyone who appreciates a good action game.
