nice chill roguelike with infuriating luck

It's MTG arena, the best way for new players and veterans alike to play MTG online. Wild cards are not too hard to earn, I don't spend any money (after buying the starter pack to support Wizards), and I can always make whatever deck I want. I highly recommend using the steam client for this instead of the standalone because it stays up to date instead of needing a 2gb update every time you play.

It doesn't run at all. Reasonably good setup, all troubleshooting fails. Can't wait to play it, maybe someday...

welcome to the grind. This game has changed a whole lot in 20 years of active development, but the more things change the more they stay the same. I will continue grinding for a long time.

This game is amazing, great "casual" style puzzles but very difficult.

This is a solid single-player game. It needs to be said.

I know most people play co-op/multiplayer, but I do not enjoy the kind of griefing that infects 100% of online survival games. Since I am not interested in the multiplayer aspect, I put off buying this game for a long time because I didn't know how great the single player experience was.

The game has an amazing amount of settings and toggles, I recommend you play with them a lot to balance difficulty, playstyle, and preference. Difficulty level is deceptive in this game. The best way to turn difficulty down without ruining the game is to make the day length longer. It gives you more time to prepare and progress

This game was a decent introduction to the recent MTG expansions, so I appreciate that. The microtransaction mechanism was livable before, but most recently it has become all but impossible to get new cards without playing multiplayer or spending money.

daily "quests" used to be good for 1 free booster pack per day, but those days are gone and so am I.
