Has been a huge help to my productivity.

It's perfect if you have multiple monitors, you can have this running and create that cozy atmosphere to put you into a good mindset to get things done. I find it especially helpful when i'm working on creative pursuits.

The checklist system is an amazing help also, it really makes you want to get things done as it progresses the collection in your little virtual room, perfect for those dopamine hits for my fellow ADHDers

The visuals are insanely cute and customisation let you create a sense of your own style.

Highly recommend to anyone who uses lofi beat playlists on YouTube as this gives you access to that style of backing music for your day, but also a visual reminder.

1. Give access back to Linu/Steam Deck users
2. Use an actually effective anti-cheat setup rather than an extremely invasive kernal level anti-cheat that barely does anything
3. Give us the tools to host dedicated servers. p2p is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ trash

A game which very much falls into the category of "Easy to learn, hard to master" category.
A TONNE of fun with friends, and the memes generated from Dani on YT are amazing.

Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a difficult survival game that's a bit ridiculous and draws inspiration from many other sources.

Also the fact it's developed by an independent creator that actually listens to feedback is worth at least a few hours of your time.

Introduction
Unfortunate spacemen plays like your classic werewolf/mafia/among us paranoia type game. But with elements from pop culture hits like "The Thing", and all in a super intense first-person POV. Very very enjoyable as a game where you want a set of objectives while also trying to solve a deadly puzzle.

The Good
  • Well Structured Gameplay
  • Large server sizes
  • Amazing atmosphere
  • Customisability of your spaceman
  • Well thought out skill-tree

The Bad
  • Mic issues for players just starting the game, will take some tweaking to get right
  • When using AI monster, it's very buggy and tends to make the game really easy (this is addressed as early stage though)
  • Damage scaling should be looked at, as some weapons just feel way too powerful

The Neutral
  • Community still in its infancy, some lobbies are really fun, some toxic/immature, will need time to regulate
  • There's a few places on maps where you can get stuck, but only if you're really trying to, should still be looked at

Conclusion
I highly recommend this game, but right now, leaning more towards recommending it if you have a bunch of friends to play with as the community can be very hit and miss, this could easily change in time as people work out what they're doing.

It plays really well and feels quite polished bar a few minor bugs and some features that are still a work-in-progress.

But since it's a free game, there is absolutely no reason to not get a bunch of friends online and go a few rounds, it's amazingly fun to see how people react in game and the outbursts of shock/terror when someone transforms.

Update: The multiplayer campaign is very enjoyable also! Highly recommended though still a tad buggy.

Killing Floor has been my go-to cartharthis at the end of a crap day for a long time. it's easy to pick up, easy to play for ages, and extremely fun to let off some steam, especially if playing with mates.

Pros:
- Customisability: With so many classes to choose from, each having different perks you can upgrade and select, you have a massive selection and tools made available to you to pick and choose your playstyle
- Content: Devs keep releasing new seasons, which add items, season goals, and often reskinned enemies/bosses, this keeps the game fresh
- server availability: There are so many servers available all around the world, and you will find one that suits you with no problem at all. These include modded servers too, so you can up your experience even more.

Neutral:
- Community: Tends to be pretty good, but you have a lot of your standard jokers who either think they're better than everyone else and will attempt to micromanage you, or just straight up trolls. I play with in-game voice off at all times and only communicate using discord with friends.

Cons:
- Instability: Game is pretty unstable and tends to crash every so often, while playing with friends at least 2 of us will go down during a session without fail, it's not too bad, but it does cause annoyance.
- DLC weapons: There are some weapons locked behind paywalls, often costing $5 for a single weapon, at least if you're playing in a match with someone that owns that weapon, it does become available to you

The first game i ever 100%
I was fully invested in this. the visuals set the scene so well and the music just pulls you in every step of the way.

The game can be as hard or as easy as you want. not a whole lot of replayability, but if you like stories that pull you in and get you truly invested in a characters thoughts and what they're fighting for then this is for you.

Recommended 11/10

This game is insane! So many big names come together to make something incredibly fun. Tim Curry was the perfect voice for the villain. Played so much I 100% completed it. Kept me enthralled throughout. Very highly recommended

Early Access Review
What can I say? I love pirates if my profile doesn't make that evident.
This game is amazing for emulating a fast-paced ship combat scenario.
Great to play alone, but man, get a few of your mates on and damn you'll have some fun.

Highly recommended to play with the pirates of the caribean soundtrack playing in the background.

And as a bonus, if you want to hear your friends grown, here's a joke you can retell:

You: "What is a pirates favourite letter?"
Friend (hopefully): "That would be R!"
You: "Blasphemy, a pirates true love is the C!"

Enjoy ya scurvy dogs!

Telltale sure knows how to make a quality game. And i'm definitely not making that statement lightly. Every decision you make in this game makes you feel something.

Every emotion is experienced throughout, compassion, empathy, regret, sadness, joy, anger. It's all there.

I'd even go as far to say that telltale should have directed the screened version rather than AMC.

If zombies are your genre, then this game is perfection.

Just be warned. It will break you, some of the decisions you need to make will be like wrenching your heart out, and that's what makes this game feel so real.

One of the best games i've played in a long long time.

Introduction

Warframe is a fast paced TTPS. Inbuilt with a huge crafting system and in-depth customisability, If there's something you want to try and do in game, you can most likely do it one way or another.

Most of the settings are relatively linear feeling maps, but there is also access to 3 open worlds, each with unique levelling systems, enemies, and their own lore.

It's a little slow to get into as there is just so much to take in, but it's well worth the investment.

The Good
  • Choice
You have a MASSIVE amount of things to choose from, build, and customise

  • Community
The warframe community is by far, one of the best gaming communities i've been a part of, if you need help, there will always be someone willing to give you a hand

  • Premium Currency
Warframe is the game I refer to whenever the issu of F2P comes up, DE handles premium currency in a beautiful way. You can buy it, sure, but you can also obtain it from in-game mechanics, It's a really well done system that I wish other game developers adopted

  • Customisability
As in the intro, i mentioned that if you can imagine what you want to do in the game you can do it? Well, at the time of writing this, there are 44 warframes (and that's not including their upgraded counterparts), 142 Primary Weapons, 115 Secondary Weapons, and 163 Melee Weapons, that's a total of over 2.6 million combinations of weapons, and that's not even considering that each weapon can be modded in hundreds of different ways!

  • Balancing
Warframe balances it's weapons with special "mods" that make the least used weapons viable and fun, while the most used weapons don't benefit greatly from these mods, meaning whatever you'd like to use, there's a way to make it work (Should be noted, these mods are not available until you are a little bit into the game)

The Neutral
  • Playing Solo isn't really that fun
While playing solo IS possible, you need to be playing with people to get the most out of warframe, and sometimes that's difficult, while the community is fantastic, lack of good communication can lead to a bit of frustration. IF you have access to a voice service like discord, i highly recommend playing with friends and you can complement each others builds.

  • Clans
Clans in warframe are interesting, while they provide an area to trade, research and communicate with like-minded players, they lack a lot of purpose since the removal of a gameplay element a while ago. That's not to say they aren't still great, they just don't have purpose apart from the things mentioned above.

  • The grind
Since there is so much to build, customise, and play with, there is of course, resource grinding. It's expected, so it's not good and it's not bad, and the resource costs for MOST things aren't bad.

  • PVP
PvP is almost non-existent and for what is there, the only thing you can really earn is some cosmetics. It's not really heavily involved in the game and you're not forced to play it, so it's not good or bad, just a little disapointing that it's not as prominent as it could be

The Bad
  • Warframe has a confusing identity
DE seems to jump from one project to the next creating "content islands" and if not everyone in the community likes a thing, it tends to be abandoned. They don't have a real target audience besides: "everyone" which cause warframe to feel a little lost sometimes with things not always linking together

  • Help tips and tutorials
I've helped a lot of players into starting the game recently and every single one of their comments has been "If you weren't here, i would have quit by now, there's just no explanation for things" So you basically NEED to have someone who knows what they're doing bring you into it (At least the community is fantastic, so you can just ask)

Conclusion
Warframe has its faults, but it's still a marvelous game which can keep you enthralled for a long time. There's always something to do and if you get some friends involved, then you can really enjoy it for what it is meant to be.
It is free, so their is no real loss giving it a go!

I hope to see you out there Tenno.
