PC is now completely quarantined from the rest of the playerbase for an indefinite amount of time because "making a crossplay toggle was too hard"
Game isn't worth more than a $1 Gamepass subscription so you can have fun cheating for a couple weeks.

It's like a kid had a dream game in his head, played JRPGs for 30 years and then just made a game with all the garbage stuff cut out. He then put it in a non-linear world with SHOCKINGLY good level design and an extremely strong emphasis on exploration and told you to just go and find your fun.
While it doesn't innovate much beyond its unique fusion of the best that the genre has to offer with level design that blows the games it takes inspiration from out of the water, it absolutely delivers on everything that it needs to. $13.99 for one of the best classic JRPG experiences out there is a deal that just cannot be ignored.

Team games are complete ♥♥♥♥ and hamper the experience severely. The game is marketed as "a free-for-all struggle" right here on the steam page yet you're at the mercy of a team (that often has more or less players than the other) in almost every game you queue into. Until these are removed or put in their own separate category, this can't be recommended.

Camera is absolutely abysmal, level design and enemy spawns are completely inconsequential and disconnected from each other.
Nobody in their right mind would call this a metroidvania.

Game ends on a cliff-hanger urging you to buy the next game.
Release a finished product or release no product.

I cannot justify paying $18-$20 for a game where literally nothing happens after the 1 hour mark that was constantly shown in trailers, and is padded just past the 2 hour mark with monotonous climbing and jumping animations in order to prevent refunds.
There is no overarching story in this game, absolutely no consequence to any of your choices, and there is ZERO pay-off in the end.
Enjoyable for the dialogue for a couple of hours but not for a second worth the asking price.

Micro-transactions.

I cannot recommend this game because it does not function correctly with a keyboard and mouse as it does with a controller. There is no reason that aiming with the bow cannot be controlled with the mouse.
Regardless of how the content of the game is I cannot advise anyone to purchase this on a PC if the devs are not going to put forward the effort to make working controls.
