The new content is genuinely good but the campaign it's attached to is so underbaked as to be insulting. Weird disjointed dream sequence that at least has narration and explicit objectives, followed by... getting dumped off in space and told to "go to planet," followed by hard crashes on each planet reached, followed by absolutely nothing.

I don't know if the writers gave up after the first act or if the crashes stopped the game from playing out whatever was written, but either way, I absolutely can't recommend this until things are patched. And if the empty void where writing should be is actually the intended experience and not the result of bugs, I don't even know what to say. I look forward to what modders do with these assets, I guess?

This game reminds me in so many ways of Terraria. A more focused version of the game it's influenced by (Factorio) that manages to cover ground that the original couldn't. And while being like 30% of the price.

So in other words basically perfect.
