Not new player or casual player friendly. Unless you're looking to follow an online cookie cutter build to the letter and grind and struggle your way through the game it's not worth it. The campaign should at least be playable without min maxing and then the end game content should be harder and require more min max. Also beware of doing the best build because they might just nerf it and give you no respec compensation whatsoever.
