I never knew how much I needed a bar fight simulator in my life until I played this game. Well excecuted mechanics, great visual style and hugely entertaining gameplay makes this game a real indie gem. Smashing bottles over peoples heads and throwing chairs around never gets old!

PS. Pirate cove is my favourite level. Kicking people into the jaws of a shark makes me feel like such a badass!

Unfortunately, a beautiful art style and atmosphere is all this game has going for it. The puzzles are tedious and unintuitive (eg. One puzzle is solved by luring some creature out of a hole with food and then chasing that creature to a giant hamster wheel. This, for some reason, triggers a hurricane and fills a hole with water for you cross over on top of a log...). Many of the puzzles require precison timing, which would be fine if the character wasn't restrictively and frustratingly slow.

- Puzzles are more difficult to complete due to restrictive game mechanics (speed, physics) than actual complexity

I actually think I would enjoy this game more if all the puzzles were removed and the focus was solely on the atmosphere, because walking and exploring were more fun for me than actually doing the puzzles.

An hugely entertaing, action-packed game. Filled with great, well executed concepts, this is a game that puts the enjoyment of the player before all else.

- Hierarchy of car selection. (There is clearly a best one, second best ect.)

It has some cute moments and some cool ideas, but a short length and tedious unintuitive puzzles with low reward let this game down. Not an overall terrible game but I wouldnt recommend it.

- Extremely tedious gameplay (one puzzles involves pressing the same button over 260 times)
- Very unintuitive puzzles (a bunch of random codes is all you get to solve EVERY puzzle)
- Very short (expect a max 2hrs of gameplay)

Simply put, this game is a masterpiece. Breathtaking environments, gorgeous soundtrack and amazing storytelling left me speechless. Its beautiful the different ways in which the two brothers interact with thier world.

+ The most beautiful environments I have ever seen in a game (or in real life)
+ A hauntingly beautiful soundtrack
+ A story and characters more compelling than most movies I have seen
+ Creative implementations of a really original playstyle.

- A lot of climbing areas (this is the only negative, and its a small one)


PS: You dont need a controller to play, but its 100x easier with one.

An amazingly fun game; the medieval equivalent of COD. With easy-to-learn but difficult-to-master controls, and great leveling and customisation system, you will definitely enjoy mastering your moves and fighting online. This is definitely the most fun I've had playing a multiplayer game online.

A beautiful 2D platformer with an awesome character swapping mechanic. With amazing visuals, a great soundtrack and smooth gameplay, this game has a lot of positives and very few flaws.

+ Stunning levels
+ Incredibly fun mechanics (thief grapple ftw)
+ Lots of hidden areas
+ Good length (5 - 6hrs if you collect everything)
+ Dev support exceptional
+ Great narration (i'm serious)

- Probably a bit expensive for a 6 year old game.
- Bosses were strangely pointless (could just run past or let them fall in lava etc.)
- Characters felt a bit unbalanced (knight felt a bit useless, almost always played as thief)

This game is really what you make out of it. If you have a creative sense of humour, then this game is for you. The gameplay is centered around exploring the world, finding 'easter eggs', pulling sick tricks, and pushing the limits of the game mechanics.

- Can be get boring if you are not creative

Basically underwater minecraft. Gather resources, grow food, hunt sharks, repeat. The gameplay is quite fun and flexible; this game has a lot of potential. The only thing letting it down is the lack of content. Get this one on sale.

A fun and relaxed platformer with some excellent mechanics and amazing environments. Probably a little too short for the pricing, but definitely one to get on sale.
