Ships, Planes, Tanks, what's more to ask? (besides Skink gaijin pls). Whether you have all the time in the world or just a quick break you can hop in and start doing stuff. A variety of vehicles from different nations can be taken out onto the battlefield ranging from utterly useless to a brutal seal clubber.

______________________________________________________________

Now, currently after 3,500 hours of playing, here's a list of things that are or have become issues.

- Map designs: Most of them have been and still are quite unfair for one side or another, and don't really give off an engaging experience.

- Battle Rating compression: Each vehicle has a BR, for matches, vehicles it a full bracket can face each other (i.e. BR 4.7 can face BR 5.7 or BR 3.7). Due to Gaijin's brilliant balancing it makes some tanks on the low end of a bracket outright useless compared to others, which generally isn't a nice experience.

- The grind: War Thunder is one hella grindy game, and with a recent patch, top tier tanks are harder to use. Essentially you have to suffer through days or even week of grinding to get to top tier, then have to suffer again using them stock (without any modifications that are necessary to perform well).

- Single Missions: Now these aren't as much of a prominent issue with War Thunder since it's a multiplayer game, but it still exists. Officially, only plane missions exist, which have slowly become more broken and impossible to complete due to changes in plane mechanics over the years. Nothing has been done to fix the missions.

- Too much being added: At first this sounds like a good thing, but in terms of WT, it's quite annoying and frustrating. Many problems exist in the base game already but instead of fixing them, Gaijin just adds more nations, bad maps, and more recently, modern era vehicles, which are now at the top tier.

Overall, I can still recommend this game especially for people who like WWII vehicles, I find them to be slightly more balanced and a lot easier to grind for. This review may change again if Gaijin decides to fix or ultimately further ruin the game. 7/10

Early Access Review
After trying this game out, it was quite fun and I do want to see where the creator goes with it.
Although this is in the Early Access stage, some things cause problems for me.

Pros:
-Models
-Immersive gameplay
-Sight Options (though limited which makes sense)
-Multiple Positions
-Enough Targets (maybe a bit too much though) to shoot at, keeping the action going
-Price, which is just right for what you get, I would probably pay more if some bugs were fixed

Cons:
-Navigating the Fuselage; I have gotten stuck a couple times (mainly blocked by the ball turret) while trying to move gunner positions, and ended up getting put to the side without me being able to return back to the center (can by fixed by entering a gunner position and exiting)

-"Concentration" Mode; I do like some slow motion, although the screen gets blurred completely (which I assume was supposed to only blur the edges given the title) and when the bomber gets hit and shakes, it calls for a unpleasant experience while using it.

-Piloting; I do know it's experimental, but at least allowing the player to see the controls for it would be good, so far I only managed to figure out the elevator and aileron controls, not the rudder (if it even exists).

-Bullets; the bullets seem to travel way too fast, usually resulting in no need to lead the target. Also, the .50 cals (12.7mm MGs) seem to do little damage to planes, and should be increased. Lastly, bigger and more visable tracers can help see where we are shooting (even with sights it can be hard).

-Plane Damage; there currently is no way of actually telling if a plane is disabled fully or not, you just have to guess based on how much smoke the plane has. Planes also sometimes collide with each other, just bouncing off and going their way.

In short, if you like WWII bomber simulator games where you control gunner positions to take out lots of enemies, then this game is for you, with the exception of some bugs and problems, which will probably be ironed out once out of EA.
