Great game, and a worthy successor to the original. However, it desperately needs a traditional save game system; the checkpoints can be incredibly infuriating, especially when you have a fight at the other side of the city with the checkpoint only created after the previous task.

Great fun, and well written. I wish it felt like conversational choices made a difference, but it's still well done.
The game's fairly short - I completed in 16 hours playtime and I was on a go-slow - but it was fun throughout.

A huge tech tree, good exploration, and a decent sense of humour make Satisfactory one of the best factory building games.

Maize was good fun, and I enjoyed the sense of humour throughout. It's fairly short at about 4 hours, but I'd recommend it happily for a quick story-based game. Don't expect much replay value out of it; most of the game consists of "take this item to where you previously saw that thing you couldn't interact with" - but the story's good and the humour works.
