I completely forgot these games existed until last year. I played about 2000 hours of X3:Reunion about 20 years ago and always thought it was an amazing game. You can play this game for space combat, empire building, or any other way you want to go. My primary suggestion is to play it until you understand the controls and interface.

Okay, I have really only gotten in to modern naval sims since it was added to War Thunder...

But this game rocks for quick and bloody ship combat. The matchmaking is fast, since it will add bots. The combat is quick thanks to the game types. It's fun if you don't pay, which is a big one for me. I will be playing a lot and sending them money via premium s**t.

I have been playing off and on since the beta. I really like that there is not a lot of dead time. You sail to the other guy, you kill, you die, arrrrggghh

Unless you have lived under a rock for 20+ years, you already know what this game is and you already know if you want to play it.

This is Skyrim meets Minecraft, but in a good way. Truly awesome job. This is a must-play.

Awesome! A huge upgrade from Europa Universalis, which is the last one I played by these guys.
