Currently, I've played this game for about an hour. I was pointed to it after completing The Talos Principle. It's kind of expensive, but good brain stretchers tend to be. So far, I've noticed that it seems somewhat like Talos and Portal intertwined. It's got a nice space flavor, the graphics are gorgeous, and the teasers are pretty wonderful.

The achievements are straightforward, and that is a nice bonus.

Got it in a bundle, haven't playedd too much yet, but first impression is pretty good. Managed to become immersed easily.

Wonderfully simple brain-teaser. It's super nice. The generated dailies are a nice touch, and every once in a while, though it's an easy game, you may find yourself hitting a brick wall. I think I got this on sale, it's definitely worth it.

You do get to change the colors after you complete a few puzzle chapters, and so far I've really enjoyed all the combinations.

In the last two weeks, I've played 50 hours outside of having a full-time job, attending school, and somehow managing to keep a relationship. It helps that I'm watching the show over again with the lady (as she's never seen it) so she can understand the flavor of this shooter.

I've played a tiny bit of FPS in the past and a lot of Borderlands, and this game feels pretty good.

My favorite bits of GitS:FA:
- Very true to the anime. Love the voice-acting, love the environment. Even if it were just a re-skin of an established FPS, the theme alone is worth it to me.
- I've seen two hackers/glitchers so far, and everyone is very good about reporting. The community can be salty, but it's nowhere near as horrid as LoL.
- I really like the skill layouts for every character. It's a nice twist on the traditional FPS, and easy to get the hang of.
-Customization is really nice. You can customize weapons and customize your "chipsets" (give a buff/debuff)

All-around, I think there's a few spots that need to be worked on, but it IS in Beta, so... they might be ironed-out.

Including:
- Sometimes, bullets register late. This means if you're in a corner-battle with someone, you could pull behind cover and die a second or so afterwards. It's annoying, but it's not a huge problem.
- No discernable ranking system outside of "experience levels." I've been placed with people that I have no business playing against... It's an awful feeling to get your ♥♥♥♥ tossed.
- After so many levels (it's a decent amount, actually), it looks like you just get GP vouchers and stop getting boosts. Kind of a bummer, not the biggest deal.

My favorite experience so far. I urge anyone who plays this to NOT look at guides- the game is about learning, and if you sidestep, you'll nix all that wonderful brain-bending allure.

My only regret is that I didn't record myself on the first play-through, they are really incredibly interesting to watch

It's just a demo, but it's done really well.
My biggest reserve is how a lot of it seems diagonally set, but that's just a preference to get used to and not something to fret over.
By the end of it I had wanted to continue playing; it really drew me in. It's a very beautiful game for what it is, the music and lore are also wonderful. I'll be purchasing the full game this season.
