This game is hours and hours of fun. My husband, who hates sandbox craft games even begrudgingly can enjoy this one. There is so much more to do than just sit around and craft (though that is always an option if that is what you are into). It is great by yourself and even better with a ton of friends. The Devs put a lot into this and it shows, still after all this time. I would recommend to everyone.

Literally the best purchase I have made in a very long time.

I have been a gigantic fan of platformers all of my life. It has been depressing that they mostly fell out of style. The only place that you seem to be able to find them now is in the indie scene and when you are getting games there you take a wild chance on whether or not they will be good. This game fulfilled everything that I had been looking for in a platformer.

The story is decent, the talents you get are fun and easy to use, and the art is breathtaking. The game flows seamlessly between cutscenes and gameplay to a point where there were times I was just standing around because I had not realized I got control back. There were quite a few refreshing 'skills' that you can use to navigate the world that made it more than just jumping and the way you can chain moves together makes just running around a blast. There is quite a lot of backtracking, especially if you are a collector, but the later skills you get in the game make it fun instead of a dry and boring trek as is often the case.

I have only one true complaint with it all. The game does have a completionist percentage to each map, which I love. However, there is one section on the map that becomes inaccessible. I took a wrong guess on the right path and locked myself out of ever completing that portion of the map during that run. It was frustrating, to say the least.

Overall, I love this game. If you like platformers I truly encourage you to give it a try. It rekindled my love in platformers and gave me hope that there are people that can resurrect the genre.
