Edit: Following significant tweaking, and not being entirely sure what caused the fix, I'm able to play. It's a good game, just shouldn't need so much tweaking to run.

There's very little I can say that hasn't been said already, but I say this from the bottom of my heart: Satisfactory is the best factory game I have, or likely will ever, play.

You get to play as one of Jimmy Space's marines, so that's cool

My observations are based on me going in completely blind, having seen almost no promotional material. Also, I'm playing on Arch Linux through Proton, and have had no issues aside from the Steam Overlay causing crashes on launch. Disabling the overlay fixed the crashes and I've had no issues since.

- Combat feels great, punchy almost in the same way Doom 2016 does.
- Veteran difficulty is actually hard, which was unexpected.
- Customisation is deep and varied, but not too complex.
- Helmet option for the campaign
- You feel big and heavy
- Framerate is sitting around 70-80fps, with very little deviation between intense scenes and simple ones.

- No ultrawide support at launch
- No FOV slider

Look, I've got thousands of hours in KSP1, and it's one of my favourite games - but this is an insult. Don't buy KSP2, don't even look at the damn store page. Go play KSP1 with a handful of easily installed mods and have a great time. Simple Rockets 2 would also be a good recommendation too.

The only good Colonial is a dead Colonial. If you enjoy beating back wave upon wave of baby-eating cannibals, buy this damn game and fight for Callahan with the Wardens today :)

It's quite simple, if you have wanna play Ace Combat 7 in VR then this is the game for you.
