I'm normally not one for VNs, but this one surprised the hell out of me, and it's contents were right up my alley, ticking all the right boxes for me personally. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys VNs or is thinking about trying one. Its current price tag of $18 is a bit steep. For what you get, my personal value I'd give it is around $7. If somewhere down the line you see it at that price, it is very worth picking up. If you see it cheaper than that, it's a steal.

Without spoilers, some things about the game:
-It's a renpy game.
-Despite what the Release Date trailer shows, it is not animated. If you've played a renpy game before, you already knew that. Every background is its own image, usually proceeded through manually by a player's clicks, and the closest you get to animation is it automatically proceeding through a few frames at ~3fps, or alternating back and forth between frames. It is visibly choppy and slow, essentially comic book-like in sequence. I don't consider this a negative, but the trailer can give you the wrong expectations. Despite that, the use of parallaxing and a little wiggle VFX even over "static" backgrounds to keep it from feeling motionless.
-Everything except for the player's choices are fully voice acted, and wonderfully so at that. I'll admit it took a minute for the princess' voice to grow on me, but once it did I have nothing but praise for all of her performances.
-This VN is not a linear click-through. There are lots of choices, many of them meaningful, with secrets to explore and content worth replaying for. I have played for over 6 hours so far, completed several playthroughs to different endings, yet I only have half the achievements and feel (quite convincingly) that I'm still missing a big secret ending. I will enjoy puzzling it out.

An enjoyable little idle game with enough heart and flavor that you want to keep playing despite the time restrictions. I don't recommend buying any of the micro-transactions, but fortunately the game plays fine without them. Regular quests and the occasional wilderness loot are able to supply you with the boxes and bottles you could otherwise pay for, giving you something to work for (or you can replace one a day if it's too tedious).

Overall a great mobile game that I'm glad was ported to PC.

Early Access Review
It had potential, but repeated changes, broken promises, no support, bugs, and finally abandonment left this game in a state worse now than it was at the time I bought it. They actually removed game modes and weapon designs, repeatedly driving it into the ground until there is nothing left to actually enjoy.
