I want this game to be good sooooo bad. Open wold-survival-craft set in a Victorian era nightmare? sign me up. This game is is an example of EA gone bad. I played on release and it was a solid onboard. Only stopped playing because there was no real pause. I come back to find there's real pause, but the onboard is a fever-dream of terms and concepts that I, let alone my character, knows that i'm thrown out of gestalt that I quit and wrote this review.

Satisfactory economic gameplay

I have fun playing it. Is it rough around the edges? You betcha. Questionable design choices? Some yes. For those on the fence about buying it I'd say buy it now while it's on sale and wait a while to play it. The glaring bugs and glitches will be ironed out quickly and the design choices will be adjusted or modded.

For a developer still pouring time and love into their game years later? Id recommend that

When the Doom Marine fist bumped a collectable action figure of himself I knew I was hooked.

This game is a mix of Stronghold and Total war with developers thatt truly care about making a good game. 50 updtaes since release and more sure to come! I'm truly excited for where this game is going and it is truly a hidden gem.
