I love xcom. I love this sort of game. I love the story of enemy unknown so I was looking forward to jumping into xcom 2.

And be extremely disappointed by the pacing being all wrong.

The game constantly bombards me with popups, people starting to talk, control of my camera being wrestled away to show me yet another popup. Yet another misson. Yet another pin on the map. Yet another Point in the avatar project.

It doesnt let you breathe - but not in a good way like enemy unknown where you constantly have a struggle for resources and making ends meet, it never lets you breathe by constantly bombarding you with someone talking.

I get that you want to tell a story. But just... shut up for a moment and let me play the game!

Kingdoms Reborn is a great early access title.
The updates are always meaningful. Despite being developed by a single person, the game has a massive amount of replayability. You can spend hours without realizing it.

Highly reccomend it. 8/10

It is an extremely fun game.
there definitely is a learning curve but I have seen a review here by a guy who said that you are almost always half dead after every enemy. That's just not the case. The beginning is tough but if you play somewhat tactical it is a blast.

Maybe it's me but I just don't really like the game. I played it for a bit now and it is so repetetive.
I had high hopes that it really gets better later on but it didnt for me. Very repetitive.

They totally nailed it! Even the bad FPS.

Survarium is a free to play shooter which aims to reignite the feel and gameplay of the STALKER series. I have heard (unproven) that devs that worked on STALKER are now working on Survarium, which is very cool.

At it’s core the game is a PVP Shooter. PVE is there but I will rant about PVE later.

But let’s get started. I will now talk about my experience in the game
I started as soon as the latest update hit, so I can talk from a newcomer perspective, as to what they changed I can’t tell you – wasn’t there.
It starts you off with 3 days of free premium, which is nice. You have four classes to chose from: Scavengers, Black Market, The Renaissance Army, The Fringe Settlers. Each have different kinds of weapons. The Scavengers, for example, are more of a snipery class. I have only really played the Scavengers, because sniping is just my cup of tea.

The first two tiers are very easy. I went 50-4 or even higher, because I was mainly versing bots with one to three players in the enemy team, the rest got backfilled with bots – I don’t mind. But as soon as I hit T3 the problems for me started.
Problem is, feels like everyone in the game has a scope but me. I see people with 4x, 2x, simple red dot and I have a sniper with Iron Sights. I can still kill people, yes, but I am at a significant disadvantage. An iron sight bolt action sniper versing an Assault Rifle with an 8x scope? Well Good luck hitting his head. I still manage to keep my K/D above 1.0 for the most part, but it is a struggle every time.


1. Attachments for your guns
You need to kill people with your gun to unlock different spots for upgrades on your weapon. 50 kills for a barrel upgrade slot, 100 kills for an under-barrel attachment (e.g. Laser pointer) and 200 kills for a scope. I got those kills quickly, because, as said before, I am killing loads of people and they all count towards the kills. Thing is: as soon as you unlocked the slot, that doesn’t mean you will unlock an attachment for your gun. If you *WIN* a game you get a random chance to get an attachment. For any gun in the game. Not even the Faction you were playing. For any gun. So now I already have a considerable amount of gear for Assault Rifles, Shotguns, all that good stuff. But I am playing snipers. In 21 hours I got a barrel attachment and a laser sight for my sniper. That’s it. No scopes, no nothing. I am beginning to think that they purposefully don’t drop attachments for the guns you use.
You can buy the attachments for Real-Life currency if you want to but any attachment you buy has the price tag of TWO EUROS!!! I am not paying 2 EUR to get a scope. And with the modifications being pure RNG it is sooooooo frustrating! Because I have no goal to work towards.
If you want to remove the attachment again? Well that’s 100Gold (1$) Unless you want to DESTROY IT!

2. Damage and Bleeding.
Aka why do I even bother with snipers?
I need two shots to kill others on T3 if they don’t heal up again. Because the game has a powerful healing item which almost instantly gets you back up to full HP With every shot you have a bleed chance. Bleeding means: Heal up or die. But with the enemy shooting me down low with three shots I don’t even get the chance to heal up because the bleed ticks so fast I can’t play the animation to heal myself fast enough. You can Wallbang but my T2 Sniper is only able to shoot through wood while a T3 assault rifle can shoot me through concrete. I want to stick to my T2 sniper though. Because I just want to have a scope on it. Then everything will be so much easier.

3. Upgrading your gear
You get 4 to 16 scrap for every game you play. Using scrap you have a 50% chance to upgrade your weapon/armour/gas mask. If you spend 10 gold you have a 100% chance. You can pick one of three upgrades for your item and then unlock the 2nd upgrade slot. There is a total of 3 slots per item. The 50% chance is either a lie or I am the unluckiest person on the planet. If you picked an upgrade and later want to change it you can reroll it for a small amount of scrap. BUT you only get 1 of 3 options, the other two options are locked behind the price of 10 gold.

4. Pve
LOL PVE? You have one map with one mission where you have to find stashes (Loot boxes) and get to the end of the level. There are invisible anomalies you have to throw Nuts and bolts into to find where they are. They almost kill you if you walk into one of them. There are three camps of enemies. Those enemies have wallhack and aimhack So they can one-shot you as soon as you walk into their sights. They are badly programmed and one point in the mission is particularly annoying. They can hide behind a metal door. They can shoot through the door but by the time you find out that one of them is hiding behind said door you are already dead. Imagine this: You walk out and boom – you’re instantly dead. You see the deathcamp and find out that there is a bot hiding behind that door and he, despite not being able to see you, shot your head while you walked out. Nice!
You have those “Access Keys” for the mission. You get two to three for free if you played some PvP You can also buy those keys for real world currency. A key is around 30 gold. 100Gold is a $. So you died because the bot shot you through the door and you already died once before? That’s 30 cents please. There are often jokes that next publishers will make you pay a micro transaction to respawn. Well! SURVARIUM IS LITERALLY DOING THAT.
And you know what is fun, too? The PvE is set to have 3 players. If you search for 2 randoms – good luck the queue will take forever. If you want to play with LESS players. Let me say that again. LESS players. You will have to pay 30 Gold (30 cents) to LOCK A SLOT!
They make you PAY to play with less players! You can’t make this up!

5. Buying guns.
There are guns you can buy with gold but their price is just abhorrent. 7$ for a sniper? 30$ for an assault rifle? No. Nonono. I usually buy ingame currency if I like the game but buying things in survarium just feels like a scam and that’s it.

6. Queue times
Queue times are usually around 4 to 10 minutes for the first two tiers and get lower on T3. So you need a lot of time and good YT Videos to watch while you are in the queue.

7. Verdict
I give this game a “Don’t even Bother” out of 10

2 GB patch to add paid mods. I don't want to pay 30$ for bad mods which have superior versions on the nexus. The Cretin Club dowloads all the mods automatically without the plugin to activate it. You pay 5 bucks for the plugin finle, everything else is already on your harddrive. This is a ticking time bomb for ANY BETHESDA GAME USING CREATION CLUB! STOP THIS!

PUBG was a game I loved, it was a game I played the s**t out of PUBG. It was always fun to play with friends or on my own. But today I roll my eyes if someone asks me to play a round. But why?

The Game has become stale, it seems like the developer doesn't care about you. It isn't getting the support the game needs. What updates have we received since it released over a year ago?

Back when there were so many asian cheaters and people were crying out to region lock china to fix most of the problem instantly instead of fixing the game we were all called xenophobes.

There is still a lot of lagg in the beginning of the game, picking up items is still a chore (How do you f*** this up. The game is literally BUILT around picking up stuff!)

Cars are a mess. They don't behave like a normal car would. Strange for a game that "tries" for realism.

The circle will ♥♥♥♥ you up on a daily basis. They had a better solution for the circle in the lategame but scratched that because ... the ♥♥♥♥ do I know.

And the most spicy part of it:

In case you were living beneath a rock for the last 6 months Butthole Entertainment is suing EPIC, the company providing THE GAME ENGINE OF PUBG for "copyright infringement" like 100 people dropping from some sort of flying thing. The placement, I am not kidding you, of the MINIMAP (WHAT THE F!?!?) and other hilarious reasons. Essentially Blueballs is salty because Fortnite is more successfull than PUBG. This is entirely the fault of Bluehole. They are now, instead of fixing the game and making people come back, spending their money they should use on fixing the damn game on frivolous lawsuits. A ♥♥♥♥ you to the community if I've ever seen one.

Seriously Butthole Entertainment?! Suing EPIC is the most greedy and the dumbest thing to ever do. There once was a companty called silicon knights. They sued EPIC to gain money. They lost and had to pay, if I remember correctly, around 6 million USD. Silicon Knights no longer exists.

F**k you PUBG. F**K you. You POPULARIZED the genre not invented it! And your game is so f**king generic there is no way you can sue anyone. Most of your assets are BOUGHT from the UNREAL STORE which is, you guessed it, OWNED BY EPIC GAMES!

The developers forgot how to talk, they only know "money". They are worse than EA. They are working against the gaming industy and against what lead gaming to the height it is today.

The Good:
- They managed to deal with the cheating epidemic. I think.
- The one battle royale game that is closest to a "real" setting (Not that hard if your main competitor is a cartoonish game)

This game is very good (no it's not). Better than any other competitors(you wish) in the whatever genre of this game is.

This game punches as hard as united airlines. (old meme.)
Gunplay feels crisp (like a soggy potato chip)
They mostly fixed lagg (if you have a NASA PC and NASA internet connection)
Butt clenching moment. (moments. Good gammar there old me.)

Heck. If you are interested in this game, why have you NOT bought it yet? (And if you have not bought it yet save your sheckles.)

I thought I was one of the good guys! I wanted safe the city from the attack, I did not want it to...

...end that way. A single mom. Shot dead. And why? Because I marked her as dangerous and tried to get them to catch her.
