The gameplay is no different from MahjongSoul (mahjong is mahjong) the main difference is that RiichiCity's gacha is a bit more generous and the characters and skins are a LOT hornier.

Another difference is that MS usually gets the better collabs, but I'm taking the Danganronpa event as a sign that we'll be getting bigger collabs with RC in the future.

EDIT: Ranked games in RC are a bit more forgiving (fixed number of points when finishing first or last, losing no points when finishing in 2nd)
