I give this game a positive review because I think it has an interesting story concept with a great use of atmospheric horror.

I enjoyed the story, ambient sounds, and general mechanic with the stone figures throughout the game.

The main thing I didn't like was CONSTANTLY getting to the next objective and realizing I needed to "find ANOTHER replacement part" or "a key to unlock the next door." You can only use the same horror-game trope so many times before it becomes exhausting.

Overall, I liked the concept of the game but the gameplay itself left me kind of annoyed. I would recommend this game with the caveat that you will be constantly backtracking and finding objects to unlock doors, with very little monster interaction.

I absolutely LOVED playing Trace. The puzzles were challenging enough while still providing a sense of accomplishment and adventure - definitely tickled my brain in a good way. The map design is very cute, and I enjoyed the non-linear fashion of the puzzles (going back to rooms you were in before).

I can't wait until I forget most of the game so I can play it again!

I love what I've played of Confronted so far - the sound ambience is top notch and spooky, visuals and level design reminds me of Amnesia (in a good way), and the hide-and-build mechanic adds a different layer of fear to the game play ("omgomgomgomg build quicker!!!"). I had a blast in the first chapter, and can't wait for future updates.

CAPTURED is a fresh take on Observation Duty + Exit 8 - esque style of games with exciting interactions and new components to manage. I had SO MUCH fun with the demo, and EVEN MORE fun with the full game. Each difficulty adds more content and aspects to explore, while becoming more challenging with each loop. Level design is interesting and engaging; monsters are dynamic and scary to deal with; sound design is top notch!!

I also want to give huge props to the dev for making this game completely solo within 4 months - from learning to code to building a complete game - including the creature voice acting!!! Amazing work Puck!

This game is AMAZING! It tackles some very dark topics, so if you struggle with depression you will likely identify heavily with the themes in this game. It's very story & dialogue driven, with choices impacting outcomes. The puzzles are challenging enough to figure out on your own without being overly obvious if you aren't paying attention. All chapters had me saying WTF while absolutely enjoying every aspect. Not to mention I LOVE THE SOUNDTRACK!

Favourite game of the year, pans down.

I haven't completed the game, but I've played each cartridge at least once and can confidently say I really enjoy it! I'm a fan of low-res horror, and this game offers multiple graphic styles with different types of horror in each of its cartridges - suspense, jump scare, survival adventure, time-based etc. Most of the cartridges also have multiple endings which adds re-playability and new things to discover.

I am excited about the fact that we will get to experience new cartridges as the game develops and uncover more secrets about the ~mall~ !

Captivating, challenging, amazing graphics, great ending. Totally recommended to fans of horror and puzzles!
