The Soulsborne series is one of my favorite video game franchises. The third entry in the Souls series is no less enjoyable than the first two. It has numerous improvements to gameplay and retains its trademark difficulty. In typical Souls fashion, it doesn't offer detailed closure to many of the larger themes scattered throughout the series. However, it sends the series off with satisfying conclusion, leaving the story where it began: in the dark.
