You know, I've never been the sort for survival/crafting horror, but Zomboid was the first game to really prove me wrong. It's so immersive that nothing feels tedious - there's always a new skill to learn or level up, some new risk to take, another way to be creative with your home base - assuming you don't get overrun, that is. It's unforgiving but in an entertaining way, 10/10 would die over and over again

I came into this game expecting something cutsey and time-killing, but ultimately something to blow through in a few days; I was surprised and pleased to find that not only is the game visually stunning, it does require more strategy and effort than you'd think! Absolutely love it, and definitely not one to judge by its initial, storybook appearance. Aurora's journey is an unexpectedly emotional one, prepare your feels to go through it.
