Love the gear grind, especially with the Shadowkeep update and the Raids are fun. Also I enjoy the PvP competitive grind. All around if you like FPS and grinding for best builds/gear then it is worth a look at least at the New Light free option and if you like it you can purchase the current release and get the full experience.

Game has made some significant changes since my last update, in so far as game play has been improved by making builds more relevant to your activities and providing more structure to how best to make your build suit your play style.

With the road map seeming to be moving more towards further ability to modify your build at a more granular level, I would suggest anyone that has played Destiny in the past but felt the game was a little too shallow for an action RPG/MMO, I would consider downloading the free to play version and see if this update has changed your mind. Or at the least, check back in December or at the latest, January 2022 when the Witch Queen expansion drops.

As they are making major changes to the Light sub-classes starting with Void in December 2021.

Great atmosphere and best played in the dark with headphones and you will cr3p your pants many times.

One of the best games ever to be stabbed in the back by either a friend who is playing with you or the computer AI that just wants to put you back in your place.

Awesome game for awesome times with friends and even by your lonesome.

If you are after Minecraft in an infinite universe, but more simplistic without the complex mechanics, where you just want to wander around the universe. Then this is the game for you.

If you are after mind bending mechanics and an infinite world of different experiences and alient species, not only did you not pay attention when this game was being advertised, but you will be dissapoined.

Probably should have been released cheaper than full price but still I have had over 120 hours of gaming in here, so it was value for me.

Just be warned that this isn't Star Citizen or Eve Online and you should be pretty happy, especially if you pick it up on sale.
