It’s not too far of a stretch to say they were nazis in the 1940s. According to google the events of despicable me 1 happened in may of 2012 that’s 70 years. That’s not that long considering they’ve been around sense dinosaurs likely meaning they haven’t learned from their mistakes meaning gru is likely also a nazi.
