It doesn't feel like a finished game (since it is early access) but it super fun nonetheless. It persuades you to improve your building and harvesting strategies. Recommend!

Wow, this game conveys the pressure really well. So stressful! (In a nice way!) After meeting some other random international guys, we managed to finally complete a mission! Communicating via VOIP is very important for effective teamwork.

Few points of feedback:
- Make gunshot audio more realistic. Someone shooting in the area or room next door should sound a bit more bright. I guess it is realistic, but now gunshots sometimes sound too far away.
- Keybinds cannot be unbound in a neutral way, only replaced with a useless key. Please make it so pressing escape or backspace/delete while 'waiting for key' that it just makes the key bind empty.
- Please include a low-ready or even high-ready position for your gun. Right now, if not aimed down the sights, the gun shoots at someones legs, even though the HUD reticle is in the middle of the screen. This has been a stressor in the middle of firefights
- Solo with friendly AI would be a nice option for the less socially-open people like Groundbranch offers
- Enemy AI is unpredictable. Sometimes when they are a few meters in front of you, they miss all their shots, but inside buildings they will shoot you very precisely through a closed door! It feels a bit off.
- The HUD was difficult to work with. It is hard to see friendly name tags and WHAT the objective is. If you miss it at the beginning, I couldn't find a way to see the current assignment again.
- Make people in a party able to take their own roles. Now, the first one will get the M4A1, the second and third one I think an M248, and the fourth one an M16 (I don't know the actual names, but this is what I assume to be correct). You get the same weapons whenever the round is restarted, which is annoying.

I guess these are my points of improvement for now. But generally, I think it does a phenomenal job of conveying the life-or-death stress the real military operators must have felt being there!

This makes me think back to when I played it on PS3 eleven years ago! Nice sale (€5,99). Also, this will be my first time playing those two DLCs. The graphic fix described in other reviews works I think. I have not even tried without it, but with it there is no stuttering or weird performance. It is, however, advised to cap the fps to 58, because the camera might show weird behavior during cutscenes when it gets above 60fps.

Beautiful little life story of Florence. This experience shows us the phases of life, from a creative childhood, to school, to boring adult life and then falling in love. The message this game presents is beautiful and humble. They have implemented some creative gameplay mechanic that are a fresh take on interacting with a game/story. Some things you decide come back in later scenes, showing this game takes you into account and doesn't ignore your tiny choices of where you place stuff for example.

Weird mouse feeling, not-working server browser and just a bad experience in general. Also a redeploy timer of 80 seconds??
The server browser shows games of 0/100 or 94/100 for example. And no matter which 90/100 to 99/100 you pick, the queue is always full for some reason. How am I supposed to get in a game then?
I don't get the hype

Took hours to download and I cannot even launch it... Big queue and once it finally starts you will just see an error message. I hear these server issues have been going on for four years

I don't recommend the game in the current state, sadly. It was promised last week that the game was finished, but it just feels like boneworks. Same interaction, same graphics, same bad audio (bad dynamic range, guns volume vary vastly and it just doesn't feel real and convincing). The gun system is also insufficient for me. Interacting with the weapons doesn't feel smooth enough, the models look of too bad quality and you cannot even change the fire mode even though the selector is right there on the gun. I have a 3070Ti, more than capable of such games, so I ran the game at ultra graphics. Walking around didn't feel impressive. For example, I walked up to a vending machine and the textures were not sharp and my fingers clipped through the machine, but I was expecting that the machine would work because in Boneworks everything was so well designed and thought-out.

Alright, enough rambling. I admire that Stress Level Zero is working so hard and inventing new mechanics other game designers will copy. But at this stage, the game doesn't feel finished and doesn't feel like the quality one would expect from smart and capable enthusiasts at Stress Level Zero. For now I will request a refund and I hope the developers keep working on polishing this game, make the weapons of decent graphical quality and interactable. It is not hard to animate a firemode selector, add a 'tsjk' sound effect and let the gun shoot once.

Not a 100% recommend. First things first: it is a graphically beautiful game. A lot of reflections and beautiful lighting. It creates for a special and intriguing atmosphere. However, there are some points of improvents: the game can stutter a lot (more UE4's fault I think) even on top-spec hardware (R5-5600x/3070Ti). The gameplay can be unforgiving too. Some parts I had to do over-and-over-and-over again because ticks get on your back or you get zapped down by android drones. At least three scenes I had to over many times and each time you get reset to the save checkmark point. So in that case I had to walk and walk way back in a laggy city and die again, only to walk and walk back to the spot until I finally succeeded. This should be easier!! This game should be played for the story, not for 'skill' of staying out of sight of those mf androids. Bad game design. Give at least an option to make it easier or to increase the time you can be spotted. And increase checkmarks so you don't have to walk for a minute through a laggy city for the 10th time you die. Also, as other reviews pointed out, the robot is doing much of the work.

One positive note on the cat: it makes you feel like a cat. There are many options to get into boxes, scratch your nails and sleep on some nice music.

All in all, beautiful aesthetics, nice concept, alright story, but bad game design that you have to redo scenes without any user-focused aids (which is again bad game design which should be fixed).

Other than that, yeah I sort of recommend this for the beauty of it, but not for the game mechanics

Its beautiful. From sound design, story telling to graphics. Everything is high quality which adds to the atmosphere and the experience. There are also intuitive new game mechanics with the mouse for things that other games would just settle with a simple button press.

A must play
