Spent more than 100 hours running around having a great time - managed to do all the side missions, all the police stuff, crafted and upgraded all my guns and clothes, set up a save yesterday to go and do the final mission - cause you can only put it off for so long - only to run the game and find that they have patched it to 1.5.
Sounded like some good updates, so I loaded to continue, only to find to my horror that all of my armoured clothing, some legendary and crafted to max, had been reset to basic, some down to 13 armour on a legendary piece!!!, and to add insult to injury the three slots where tech is added, or more in some cases, have also been removed and now only 1 slot exists on each item - basically ruining my character, and her carefully crafted loadout :(
I could no longer bring myself to play it and so will likely never complete the final mission. Lord only knows if they have ruined all my stuff in my stash as well, I could not bear to look.
Projeckt Red certainly made me see red today, and I cannot recomend this game as the whole experience has been ruined for me
others may love it and get more from it, but I had my experience ruined by poor implementation of an update that ruined my character and removed things I had carefully constructed. Its only a game, but it is something we put time into and I would have liked to have finished it before they ruined my character :(

To Edit - in the end, I went upstairs to the roof, looked out over the night city with awe and sadness, stared at Johnny with a small smirk, and put a gun to my head - WHY? - because my once legendary hat that now has 13 armour and also now just one tech slot couldn't stop a hotdog being fired from a hotdog bun; but surely the update would have made me invincible right :P

Goodnight Johnny, sad we never got to play that last dance together :(

Lol - this might not have the graphics of the sniper elite series, but it is a giggle to play :)

Well Worth Playing - A Good Way To Pass The Time Without Straining The Mind :)

Who doesn't like shooting things, who doesn't like doing it down the sights of a sniper rifle - this is a long standing franchise now and this is a fine addition to the line-up. It was a little narrow in storyline, given the setting, but the missions made up for any immersion in the war effort. Well worth the purchase cost :)

The game can be fun to play, especially to try and understand how boring some parts of driving a train can be, and then realising why trains crash on occasion - if I had to sit there doing that all day, then I think even I would speed round corners; just for the hell of it. And there is an element of skill involved in the game that takes some learning, for which you need to take time and put in the effort. Overall, I enjoyed the small amount of gameplay that I have put in, but cannot recomend the game fully because it is incomplete - to have a usable game, and really progress as a driver, you have to have the relevant tracks, and maybe even the trains. However to get these, you have to pay extortionate amounts of money through extra purchases, and then, BUYER BEWARE, you purchase some items that, in the small print, has a section that says you need another line to be able to play the line that you just purchased !!! Yes, I fell into this trap, paid £12, or thereabouts, for an 8 mile section of track that I wanted to try - only to find out that I need the £25 main section to be able to play it - this despite the fact that I have a retail version of the game - but that retail pack does not include that specific section of mainline - SO BE WARNED, THE GAME CAN ACTUALLY BE FUN, BIT ITS THE EXTRA CHARGES, REQUIRED TO GET A REAL GAME PLAY GOING, THAT WILL PUT YOU OFF.

The game name may be updated to 2019, and so is this review as such, but the game still remains a DLC rip-off charging people extra for items that should be included within the main game when purchased is simply poor form
