This game is fundamentally different than POE1, and it should be treated as such. I see a lot of complaints about the game not "respecting player time." There must be a youtuber or something who said it because everyone is parroting it. If you expect POE1, and play this game like it is POE1, then you aren't respecting your own time. You should be playing POE1 if you want the POE1 experience.
This game is obviously intended to be a more difficult experience, and is remarkably well put-together and fun for an EARLY ACCESS title. The game feels slower, progress is more sluggish, and certain aspects are annoyingly difficult, but the overall experience is enjoyable and it is nice to see a developer make a sequel that does something to set itself apart from its predecessor.
They going to continue to support and develop POE1; so if you want that experience, it's right there waiting for you. For free.

Game gets very satisfying pretty quickly. You will definitely get your 3USD worth if you are into this type of game. You can also turn off the CRT effect which is a nice touch imo.

It's Runescape but Ironman mode and you bot everything. Published by Jagex. Relatively in-depth and interesting for an idle game. Worth the price

An ARPG for ARPG enthusiasts. Tons of stuff to do for a free-to-play, and the only non-cosmetic MTX are QOL stash tabs and character slots, neither of which you will even want until dozens of ours of gameplay. Great game, very obviously made with players in mind every step of the way.

A lot of these negative reviews criticize the free-to-play advertising, and I can see why they might be upset because this game has a monetization model that is slightly different than most free games. I bought the game a long time ago so this doesn't really affect me.
I've easily put over a hundred hours into this game, with 99% of that time spent in the content that is available for free. I basically only play normal dungeons. I use normal quality gear every match. Aside from being able to play multiple characters and use a shared stash, I have basically enjoyed the free-to-play experience as far as gameplay content. It is very fun for me, because I play with friends and we just goof around and do our best.
You can play druid and turn into a rat and bite someone's ankles and run away and squeak at them when they miss you with their attacks. It's fun.
You can do this right now for free.

Cute, easy, and satisfying. This game is a relaxing blend of Animal Crossing and any survival crafter. Definitely worth it full price, especially worth it on sale.

I've had this game for less than a week and I've put in over 75 hours. It's okay I guess.
