solid bones. The game is a lot of fun with friends.
some of the servers are super low population but if you got friends that wont really matter until they all decide to stop playing.

I like the direction the game is going and will continue to dabble in and out as it evolves.

It is early access and not all things work.. they have been adding / modifying things on a weekly cadence since I started. There will be a wipe at 1.0 launch as you would expect.
play, test, provide feedback and try to have fun!

Builds on all the great things in the witcher1 and has fun engaging combat.
combat may not be super indepth but it is fun and enjoyable to weave signs, light, heavy and dodges.

Story is enjoyable and holds you the length. Does a great job of making your choices never feel like they were right or wrong.

Excellent game. Was top tier in 2007 but it is definitely rough around the edges in 2024. Worth playing if you are a fan of the Witcher Series.

take your time and go through everything. Act3 has a couple quests that can completely bug out a save if you are rushing and not being thorough.

Lots of fun.
Dedicated server with friends is some of the most fun I have had in a long time.

It definitely needs some polish and such but the issues are not to bad. AI pathing for Pals and such

I absolutely adore this game.
I played it originally on PSX back when it came out and just fell in love with it. I replayed it multiple times back in the day.
The remaster for the PSP was awesome. It was a light refresh but still very much was the same game.

This remaster hits so well. It is very much still star ocean 2.. but the QOL stuff and little details they left original really hit nostalgia very well while still feeling fresh. As we get older we do not have the time to play as often as we used too.. The few systems they added to the game really make enjoying this game at your own pace something you can do.

You can just break the game by getting uber strong items near the beginning and blast through a bunch of the content.. or not and just enjoy it!
You can train and turn on body guard.. then go AFK for a few hours and come back +70.. 150.. levels higher and again.. have all the stuff trained and stomp through the game.. OR.. you can ignore that feature and play it.

All of the Star Ocean games have a fantastic item creation system that once you dive into it.. can make the game significantly more fun.. or easy.. or fun! Just down to how you wish to develop your team and experience the game.

I am on my NG+ play through right now to finish up getting the other team members (cause you can't get them all in 1 run) along with finishing the fishing encyclopedia and item stuff.

If you enjoy RPGs and want one that is just a ton of fun, has a solid story and also has wonderful QOL updates that respect your time.. PLAY THIS GAME!!!!
