After 270+ hours and buying it in EA, I feel like I should review this now it's in it's release version.

One of my favourite games of all time. I've always been a big history nerd on WWII and have been fascinated by the U-Boat crews and their daring escapades. I've watched Das Boot (Original film edit + long form TV show -- Not the new one that doesn't interest me) more times than I can count. Countless books to boot (heh). I will never get ALAAAARM out of my head.

Now I get to live and feel what they had to go through to a degree. This game has it all, and I can never get enough. I love it.

Just finally gotten around to buying the supporter pack and I would continue to support this game with new boats, and anything else they wanted to add. It's a game like no other.

PLEASE add the type XXI Elektroboot, and a way to carry on the war after it ends as a "Last U-Boat"; that'd be very welcoming additions personally.

My only criticisms are they need to fix the invasion fleet missions. Having just a single troopship to defend as an 'invasion fleet' is underwhelming to say the least. And please make it so we can adjust difficulty midway through a save. On a recent playthrough I've only just realised I didn't enable realistic bilges and I'm unable to check the box mid-save.

Absolute masterpiece otherwise. Please do not stop working on this gem.
