My nomination for Best Game on the Go 2022!

Great game! Love the developers and how much time and effort they still put into the game and YouTube animations.

I've attended my own funeral, sung 'I want it that way' with everyone, gotten married and adopted a couple of kids. Random lobbies are fun.

This is definitely the game of the year for me.

I've unironically spent 10 hours taking care of my virtual plants.

My mom is 55 and has played this game for 1.400+ hours on Steam. She played the free version on Armor Games before that, and had me create a Steam account for her just to support this game. I kinda feel guilty for introducing her to this game though, as it has somewhat disrupted our well-functioning household. But I really love the sound effects of this game, so when she's playing I just close my eyes and pretend it's the rain drumming on the window (matching the tears streaming down my face).

All jokes aside, GemCraft - Chasing Shadows is an awesome game and both me and my mom enjoy it very much. I played this game on Armor Games first, for many more hours than I have on Steam, but I had to buy this game to show my support. You're never really done playing this game, there's loads of content, battles take the right amount of time, I like the art style and visual effects, the concept and the story are cool, and as I mentioned before, the sound track is lovely.

(P.S. My mom recently switched back to playing GemCraft - Labyrinth, definitely gotta recommend that game too. All GemCraft games are awesome :)
