With the community made Viper Client helping to revitalise the game, I still cant really recommend the game as the main EA servers are still garbage trash, no idea if the hacks are still ongoing after all these years or if the servers are just that badly maintained now or as a consequence of the hacks.

If you're interested in this game, follow one of the many guides to install Viper client, there's a ♥♥♥♥ ton of mods to mess around with and it makes the game fully playable online again with full unlocks in MP.

Me personally, though, it's been incredibly depressing and heart shattering to see a game that I love rendered unplayable in it's original state, and the apathy of a developer that once seemed like they truly did care about their games and community - considering they were willing to take the risk of making a sequel to an incredibly polarising game - letting a game languish in a lack of updates and community acknowledgement (Like a certain other TF2 I know...), and flat out say they weren't working on a Titanfall 3 anytime soon, but that's a whole other problem in it of itself. It feels like now if you aren't spending money on Apex Legend's battle pass, Respawn and EA don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about you.

This review is probably much more opinionated and biased than what I normally do, but that's simply because of the deeper connection I have with this game and Titanfall as a whole. It's a series that, while it's been very successful now thanks to Apex, it's ultimately become a victim of modern monetisation schemes that plague AAA games released today, clearly seen through the stark design differences between TF2 and Apex. Titanfall 1 and 2 are relics of an older era of AAA gaming, back when everyone's worst fears were season passes and loot boxes.

OLD REVIEW:
While normally i would recommend Titanfall 2 to anyone that likes a rich shooter with a high skill ceiling, i cant with the current DDoS attacks that render the game's multiplayer mode unplayable. While the game still offers a great singleplayer experience, the multiplayer is, in my opinion, the main draw of the game that will keep you coming back.

Wait until Respawn comes out with a more permanent fix for Titanfall 2 before purchasing (Unless this game is on sale)

OLD OLD REVIEW:
Literally bought this game again and i would gladly do it once more. Incredible multiplayer and singleplayer experience, and i cant wait for what Respawn does for Titanfall 3 (I have over 130 hours on the origin version of this game)

To call this game crack is an understatement, you may find it slow and steady at first, but youll quickly watch as those few hour sessions multiply, consuming whole days as you perform otherwise menial tasks without even realizing it. Eventually, youll drop the game after doign everything you wanted to do, only to pick it up again a year later (At most) and relapse

11/10 will continue to relapse

Early Access Review
The greatest place for virtual hangouts with both friends and strangers alike and playing a wide variety of games. Huge benefit to the game as a whole that there are no microtransations or any real grinding, kudos to the developers for making a game this ambitious and sticking to their vision while still respecting the game's roots.

Do you like platformers? Do you like fun? Do you want a great example of a classic style of game done right? Do you want an amazing soundtrack? Do you want owls, penguins and a ghost daddy? Do you want a memorable and memable protagonist that is on the same level as Mario, yet manages to radiate more swagger? Do you want a cute robot vacuum?

If you said yes to any of these questions, then buy this game, you will not be disappointed, and you will be wowed for years to come.

One of the best games in the Fallout series, it pays homage to the older games (Fallout 1 and 2) with its gameplay and factions while doing its own thing, remaining separated from the other games like 3 and 4, while still managing to be connected. However it does suffer from an extensive amount of bugs (Making it unplayable on certain setups), and its a shame that people are unable to play this game. If you able to run this game (or you think you can), don NOT pass this game up! Id recommend getting the DLC/Ultimate Edition for the most content, and just getting this game in general.

While my original review's point still stands about the Remaster being a crashing mess, upon a repeat playthrough, this game looks and feels way better than the original. Keep that quicksave key handy!

As for actual points about the game, I think this game is kind of the unnecessary black sheep of the franchise, which i think is ridiculous; Both the base game and Minerva's Den tell compelling stories about life after Jack's run through Rapture and many important people in the political system dying, showing the power vacuum left in its wake, and not only that, but being able to play as a drill-clad Big Daddy with a heart of gold, its by far one of the most fun games in the series to me and the most kinetic given the player's weapons, plasmids, and the fact that you can dualwield weapon and plasmid now, it comes together to create one of the most fluid and action packed Bioshock games to date. While some parts of the story dont feel very compelling, such as helping Elanor (We really arent given much of a reason to care about her, despite Delta's life relying on her's, and the fact that we learn about her backstory throughout the game), it is still a very strong entry in the series that explores and answers a lot of questions left from Bioshock 1. It is my personal favorite in the series, and Id recommend it to everyone.

P.S. Minerva's Den is painfully overlooked, its an incredible short DLC that tells an interesting, mostly disconnected story that I can't really talk about here without spoiling things. Play it! Its a great story DLC that gives you frickin' laser beams and a black hole Plasmid to toy around with.

Original Review (January 10th, 2018):
The game is great, fun gameplay and if you liked Bioshock 1, you will definetly like Bioshock 2. The reason I dont recommend this game is because its far to buggy and it crashes way too often for me to recommend. Stick to the old Bioshock 2 rather than playing the remaster

Borderlands 2 Is probably one of the best FPS RPGs ive ever played. If you like over-the-top action and silly in your face humor. Than Borderlands 2 is for you

Detailed Review (Some Spoilers Ahead!!!) (If you want a quick summary on what makes BL2 Good, go to the bottom of the review)

Borderlands 2 is a giant step up from Borderlands 1, Borderlands 2 Adresses most of the problems that Borderlands 1 had.

Loot and Trade

Borderlands 1's loot system was bad as when you looted a boss's gun (for example Sledge's Shotgun) or really any gun, only the person who picks it up first gets it, and trading online wasnt too direct as in order to trade you had to drop items which meant other players would steal it and run off. Borderlands 2 fixed that; Whenever you completed a quest, the reward for the quest was given to everyone who participated and you can now directly trade with people and even duel for the trade items.

Combat, Bosses and Enemys

Borderlands 1, in my opinion, had WAY too many bandits in the early, mid and even end game stages. Sure there was the wild life and the Crimson Lance but the bandits outshine the other groups of enemys. However, Borderlands 2 suffers the same issue, mid game they introduce a new enemy type: Robots. Bout they are, again, used too often afterwards, even the bosses afterwards were just machines, bosses like the W4RD3N, BNK3R, and Saturn are the robot bosses that all are in the mid game and the beggining of the end game. Speaking of bosses, some of Borderlands 1's bosses were merely reskins of other enemies, Nine Toes is a reskined psycho, Bone head is another reskin of a psycho, Sledge is a reskined brute, Jaynis Kobb is a reskin of the marauder, and Talyor Kobb is also a reskin of a marauder. Borderlands 2 fixed this by making most of the bosses unique and gave them their own fleshed out backstorys that all intertwine with the main story. (Btw im not trying to say that Borderlans 1's boss battles and enemys are bad, the bosses can be quite challenging, im just saying that the bosses are unoriginal in terms of visuals)

Character Customization and Variation

In Borderlands 1, choosing your class was quite a tough decision. Roland had a deployable turret and was good with shotguns and assault rifles. Lilith had a 'Phasewalk' ability and she was good with elemental guns and pistols. Mordecai had the ability to send out a bird of death (Bloodwing) and was good with snipers and smgs. Brick had the 'Beserk' ability and was good with melee attacks and heavy weapons. There is differences between characters which made it hard to choose which is a good thing in my opinion, however the characters lacked customization aside from changing colours of their outfits. In Borderlands 2 the game had a brand new cast of heroes and abilitys. Axton can deploy something similar to Roland's Turret. Maya can use 'Phaselock' instead of Lilith's Phasewalk. Salvador can use the Gunserker ability and it does what you think it does... DUAL WIELD TWO ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ GUNS! (Any gun may i add) And Zer0 can use Decepti0n rather than an animal. The characters in this game have a much wider variation of ways of customization, theres so many hats, helmets, suits, shirts, pants, jeans, trackpants, jumpsuits, armor, masks, and SO much more.

Guns

The guns in Borderlands 1 were sort of a hit and miss with me. For me, I got the same guns all the time in Borderlands 1, and this is mostly from random drops and red chests across the map, you could argue that the real weapons in Borderlands 1 lie with the bosses but then that ruins the whole thing about Borderlands having a Bazillion guns, on of the main selling points of Borderlands. In Borderlands 2 majority of good guns can be found in loot chests, you can also get some of the very best guns in the entire game by killing the various raid bosses and and badasses and bosses. Borderlands 2 also has Bagillion Kazillion more guns! Gunporn for all!

Humor
-Im going to touch this briefly since humor is subjective, bear with me here

In Borderlands 1 there was humor but it merely existed only in lines of random dialogue. Sure there were silly and funny characters like Claptrap, Tannis, Baron Flynt and Scooter but they were funny by nature. Borderlands 1 focused way more on the questing and map design. Borderlands 2 had highly improved humor, almost every character is hillarious and silly. It fits well with its over the top action.

Overall, I would reccomend Borderlands 2
Pros:
-Great loot system
-Flawless Trading System
-Great Over the top action
-Fluent and great gameplay
-Atmospheric Music
-Unique enemy types
-LOTS OF GUNS
-Great combat
-Hillarious Humor
-Game is still supported
-DLC is amazing
-Multiplayer is awesome

Cons:

-Robots are used too often
-Singleplayer is lonely and mind nummingly boring
-Mission Completion errors
-Major updates can corrupt or ruin save data
