Do I recommend this game?

If you're new to the Skate franchise, yes.

Do I recommend this game if you played Skate 2 or 3?

Yes.

I see where the hate from this game is coming from, and I have to say some people are so ungrateful and arrogant. It's been 15 years since Skate 3 came out. I was 6 years old. I remember when I begged my cousin to get this game for his ps3 and I would have to come over and we all could play it. I remember his dad bought the party pack DLC for us so that we could all play it on split screen, it's one of those memories I will cherish for the rest of my life. I played this a lot on the 360 back in the day. I've put in countless hours on it. This game isn't Skate 2 or 3. This is Skate 4 and I can see EA is doing their best in this new generation, I've haven't had fun on my own time in a game like this in awhile and I just keep on playing and playing. I highly recommend this game for all new or old players.

The things I will complain about. Idc about the graphics or physics, but they're some things that are a bit weird on this game. First of all, where's all the OG professional skaters. I remember vividly of all the cutscenes and cool shots of Skate 3 at least having a story in it, you had 1 goal and it was to sell 1,000,000 boards. This game your goal is to ??? Idk it just feels odd to me but this game is still unfinished and I can't wait to see where it goes. Second, where's Coach Frank/Jason Lee. I remember him vivdly, he had life in the skate games and frankly was the reason why I started learning irl. But this game lacks that life or love of Skate. I can see why new players are falling in love with but I can also see why old players are blinded by nostalgia, because it would be so cool if they just got rid of Vee and Izzy and just added the OG's back but that's just me. Also the soundtracks in Skate 4 are just not that great. They're like 3 songs I like and I just don't see the appeal in this skate game of their music cause Skate 3 had some bangers back in the day. Also one more annoying thing. I hate when I get done with challenges it changes my camera framing back to low. I like it set to high because of Skate 3 and it automatically switches it which is kind of annoying. Oh yeah before I forget, where are deathraces, film challenges, and custom parks, I remember those being a big deal back in the day. I like how this map is at least a sandbox but they're a lot of griefers who will ruin the course for everybody. I loved seeing peoples creativity go into Skate 3, please add it to Skate 4.

I will say though, I'm in love with the map design, truly fantastic. I'm in love with character designs, yes I said it. I think it's great. I love the ragdoll physics in the hall of meat status. Hilarious. I actually love this game and give it a 9/10, it's losing 1 point cause the characters/npcs in this game have no life, they just sound dead. I met some great people on here as well. Love the fact that it's online only right now cause people these days need to practice on their social skills and learn how to make friends. But thank you EA for taking your time on this even if it's not like mediocre like the games you have been making lately.

This game is very underrated but it's so fun for no reason what's so ever, one of the best games I've played in awhile

I played it on the good ole' 360 days, but I never actually played played the game till like 9 years later after it came out, and I'm in love with this game, it has a good story story so far, and you get to kill a f*cking dragon, but not just one, they're tons, this game has an endless free roam world and that's what I like about this game is the roaming, spells, and combat, if you're into first person or third person combat, this is the game for you!
