It's not a simulator, it's an arcade game style to kill some time. It has a pretty wide variety of car and tuning options and I would recommend everyone to get the midnight DLC to drive at night. But even if not, you can join online lobbies where other people with the DLC can host a map you might not have, or set the time to night etc.

Controller gameplay feels a bit weird, you might get used to it tho. I personally prefer to play this game with keyboard, and it's pretty chill to play with a single hand.
Wheel support is poor. There can be a lot of issues with the force feedback. Remember to plug out your controller from your PC if you do use a wheel as it otherwise disables the force feedback. The force feedback also isn't that good and you'll struggle getting used to it. I tried using my G29, but ended up resorting to keyboard only.

The community is pretty cool, most people are chill and respectful. The public text chat on the other hand is filled with inappropriate comments, although they aren't always flooded with them. Occasionally you might find a civilized conversation being held.

Overall I'd recommend this game to anyone who's looking for a game to do some quick drifts, alone or with friends, without having to sweat and grind to pull some good slides or get the car you've always wanted. It doesn't have that high system requirements to run and can be played single-handedly, making it great to play on the go.

I really like this game but the community is 50% crap.
Players are trolling the own team, can be a little offensive or just don't team-play and disturb your tactics.

The new western event is a lot of fun and the 6 player limit (3v3) is a perfect balance for it.

Ranked mode needs to be improved. You can be the best player in the world but if you get bad team mates who troll or surrender to boost the enemies' ranks you will be ranked down and play with other low ranks who seem to play the game for the first time.

I still love this game though because it's not like the other FPS' where you just have to rush, kill enemies and can respawn when you die. You have to be patient, play tactically and communicate with your team. You can either reinforce your objective as defender to close potential attacking angles for enemies or you open them yourself so the enemies can't cover themselves. You have special gadgets and operators to make up a good tactic to defend yourself and attack the enemy. Same goes for attackers who have special gadgets and operators to destroy reinforcements, set traps or infiltrate cameras which can even be used as spectator after dying.

The "Situations" game mode is pretty fun and makes you familiar with weapons and the game's general physics. The multiplayer mode has a lot more space for own creativity due to the variety of operators, gadgets, spawning locations and the different tactics of the enemy or your own team.
"Terrorist Hunt" is another game mode where you can play solo or with up to 4 friends against bots. It sounds easy but the higher difficulties can be very challenging.
You can also host private matches with up to 9 friends (5v5) to compete against friends instead of only playing together in public matches.

I would wish me to play Terrorist Hunt in offline mode because sometimes I would really like to play a bit on holidays or at school but unfortunately you can only play Situations offline.

You have a lot of customization options: weapon skins, weapon charms, operator headgear and operator uniforms. You can buy a lot of stuff by renown (the in-game currency) but the most of the "good stuff" cost R6 Credits (paid currency).
You can also buy elite skins which contain a full loadout including weapon skin(s), headgear, uniform, edited special gadget skins (for example: Frost, the female defender with the bear traps gets more realistic traps) and a special animation at the end of a round if you become MVP.

The season pass is more than fair. You pay 30€ for the year 4 pass, receive:
- all operators of the season (each season goes 1 year, every quarter year they reveal 2 new operators = 8 operators at the end of the season)
- 600 R6 Credits
- +0.3% on your alpha pack win chances at the end of each round
- 5% renown boost for each round
- 10% discount on anything in the in-game shop

The in-game challenges are pretty fun and the club challenges offer Ubisoft Club Points which can be used to purchased game content for any Ubisoft Game. In R6 you can use them e.g. for renown or renown boosters, a few weapon skins or charms or the game soundtrack.
