I have exceedingly low expectations for this game
considering that it was OK I guess if you play it as a joke it's pretty fun
HOWEVER 3 hours in I notice why my room was so hot
the game takes up 80% of my GPU in the main menu and like 90% during the game
how does that even happen lol they're definitely mining crypto

the writing was only entertaining when the characters yelled and fought eachother this was the only gave ever where I feel like it's fine to be as rude as possible

40% of people got through the tutorial
a lot of backtracking
no map lol
a lot of ways to die suddenly and having to backtrack from the save room
the hot lady protag really carries it

Wait until it comes out of early access or devs push big updates because as of mid September 2023 it's dead

It doesn't feel like dark souls, it feels like a regular hack and slash game but slower because of souls-like mechanics

5/10 super overrated

it's good
not that fun though, some mechanics are cool and the final level is kino so there's that

At first it seemed like a mediocre management game, it turns out it has a VERY nice story
9/10 game DO buy it

Gameplay is slightly repetitive because of the rouge-like elements which help a lot, probably necessary for getting the endings and/or the true ending

notable cons:
for some abnormalities (basically SCPs)
you'd have to spend ages to figure out how to research them without instantly having them escape
so checking the wiki was needed to not make it a pain in the butt

surprising pros:
there's A LOT of unique death animations

island 2 music sucked
level design was 10/10
dialogue 10/10
gem paths being locked sucks
customization is okay
A LOT of content
overall it's good but runner 2 was better tbh

best FPS game ever
