Underneath its gorgeous sheen and striking atmosphere, Legend of Grimrock is an unapologetic nod to PC games of the 90ies like 'Dungeon Hack' and 'Eye of the Beholder'. Ain't no school like the Old School.

I see people comparing this to 'Lands of Lore', too. Careful, though! Lands of Lore had a rich storyline to follow, this game is more of a pure 'solve-riddles-avoid-traps-and-survive'-style dungeon crawler.

Funky little game. Hopelessly overrated, though.
