I recommend the game, however keep in mind that it´s abandoned. The devs consider it "feature complete" when you can´t even vote for maps or have workshop support. It´s literally less feature complete than Chivalry 1...

The most intense PVP experience you can find out there currently. The chilling atmosphere, combined with the tension of possibly running into enemy players will make your blood pressure go through the roof. The mechanics work great, gunplay is really satisfying and there's infinite possibilities to approach a match in order to safely extract with the bounty; not to mention that the sound design is the best I've encountered in any game. I'm not exaggerating when I say this is one of the best player-versus-player games you can play right now. The learning curve is extremely steep, especially when taking into account how the matchmaking works right now (which is really flawed), but if you're into shooters and extraction style gameplay, I'd definitely recommend you give this game a try.

The best war experience since classic battlefield.

I've always been a huge fan of realistic war games, having spent hundreds (1000+) of hours on Battlefield for instance.
For a while I'd given up on realistic shooters as they just didn't "itch the spot" for me, but then I tried Rising Storm 2: Vietnam after seeing it on my discovery queue, and oh boy was I in for a ride.

I finally got that feeling that I hadn't felt for years since the old Battlefield games. All the loudness and volatility, and the need to be able to adapt to the situation, as well as the huge difference that 1 single kill or 1 single soldier staying alive for 10 more seconds can make, gives the game a strategic feel. It's a realistic simulation of one of the most brutal and destructive wars in all of human history.

If it sounds like something you'd enjoy and are considering buying this game, give it a shot!

Absolutely recommendable. Stunning game with realistic combat tactis and always-working servers. Also has a really fun community and I meet fun people every time I play it. 10/10, off the scale. And don't worry, the graphics are good enough and the developers add (SERIOUSLY) amazing maps and new features all the time. It never gets old. If you haven't tried it yet, I don't know why you're still reading this, GET TO IT!
